The food was great! Lots of choice for gluten free and vegan, although no dessert if vegan and gf. Only two problems I encountered were, I ordered the stuffed vines as a main and only got a starter portion, the other is the carpet runner by the toilets, they are not flat and when I came out of the toilet I tripped on a raised bit of the carpet and went flying, luckily I didn't fall but it was a very close thing and I felt quite shaken by my unexpected flight! Very dangerous, management needs to either ensure these are flattened or get rid of them asap before someone gets injured. I did let staff know, hopefully this will be passed on.

A wonderful restaurant on the coast! Very tasty, large portions, fast and pleasant service! As soon as you place an order, you receive a compliment from the restaurant - a wonderful flatbread, two sauces and a salad. The moussaka is simply incredible.

Today the food was first class as always. However I didn’t feel very welcome both on arrival and exit. Not sure why. I think it may have to do with the fact that having reserved a table for 3 about 4 days prior, I arrived and there seemed to be some confusion about the fact that I reserved a table. I was just given a choice of any table. It genuinely looks trivial but when you consider that it was supposed to be a special occasion, arriving and being made to feel like a show-off for thinking to book a table at all is a thing worthy of public commentary and deliberation. The big things are in the small things or at least have their origins there. We eventually ended up with a table close to the door which opened and close with the full cold draft of the beach outside as it was one they showed to us in encouragement to choose. On exit, as if the awkwardness was insufficient, for some inexplicable reason the card machine they brought to me to pay with did not accept my card. I only paid successfully after I used Apple Pay with same card on the same machine. Quite weird if you ask me.All I did for all this rigmarole was choose to ignore all the restaurants in Aberdeen and call up to reserve a table at the Turkish Restaurant at the Aberdeen beach. Ever since we had been going there and just walked in without any prior bookings, I never experienced any such problem.I just called and reserved and my luck changed suddenly. I just thought there is no way this can’t be public. The big things are in the small things
