This is a extremely comfortable and relaxed Starbucks, probably best in town ? good staff ?

I just really don't like Starbucks coffee. I can't work out why people wouldn't go to an independent, local coffee shop and get a cup of coffee made by a skilled barista!Staff are usually really nice, the place feels cozy and warm cakes are generally on point!

This is an eloquent building with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. I'd like to recognise Sonito for her conscientious customer service and for smiling whilst handling the high customer demand efficiently. Thank you.

Coffee was excellent didn't wait long and service was
Cheesy wedge, shot of ginger, tall cappuccino with a chilled corner. Worth every bit of the 10 quid.

Service can be very scripted, please just use your own personality and come off the script!

I visited this Starbucks recently and immediately there was 3 steps up (I’m a wheelchair user). There was no sign or button to press for step free access. My husband went inside to ask for a ramp (which I couldn’t have asked for had I been alone). There was no ramp , but the employee opened the side entrance. Once inside , there was not enough room for a slim wheelchair to fit in between the tables and chairs. At the counter, it was so high that the barista didn’t initially realise I was there , then when taking my order , he asked the questions to my husband who was behind me. The card machine was completely out of reach so my husband assisted me with paying for my coffee. I then picked up my coffee and left and noticed that the disabled toilet was completely out of order and looked like the sign had been there a while, but I didn’t see inside it. Overall there was no effort made for accessibility from a multi billion dollar company. A task that I could do completely independently with step free access, good walkways and lower counters (essentially complying with disability law) was now made a task where I needed assistance as a capable woman. Would not recommend as a wheelchair user at all :(
