A great pastry shop with hand pies hot and ready. Enjoyed the minced meat pie and Aberdeen date slice pastry square

Food is good but have dropped off over the years.

The food is always freshly hot, really affordable pies too in comparison to what you pay some other places. Their steak and gravy pie is to die for, I cannot walk past without getting one. Also a bonus that it’s 24 hours, who else can give you baked goods after an evening out. Their sweet stuff is great too. Also really affordable rowies. There’s never too long a wait either.

Just been in and bought stovies and 2 mince pies and 2 mince and mealie pies and the mince and mealies were that stale the pie bounced and never even cracked tried to call them but they don't answer must actually know they are selling stale pies so will be taking the pies to food standards as they are not edible I will also be recalling the money from my bank

Pie was over cooked and dry, and under filled , worst pie I’ve ever had, which is a shame as trains pie were great.

Macaroni amazing, chips not so.....stone cold, no atmosphere as I was only one in the shop, staff maybe could've been a wee bit politer when I queried the price, however it filled a void when hungry after a long day at work

Sold me stovies made with rotten potatoes.
Smelt & tasted revolting.
Refused to swap for macaroni n cheese, he tasted it and told me it was fine how it always tastes. (They ain’t remaking & still selling it)
Told him I’d been coming here since the early 90s & can assure him they are not supposed to taste or smell like that. TBH it looks like they fired all the old staff & hired people who look like they have never ate stovies before let alone since the 90s. Wanted me to fill out a complaint form but I didn’t want to hang around after having to walk there with my order to complain in first place ended up paying for macaroni that was more edible but not great.
Now I’m home so 1 star review. Don’t think I’ll be enjoying having a 24hr baker close by anymore.

Everything is delicious here and I'm a big fan of there stovies as there are really tasty. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and anyone else who likes a pie or macaroni cheese. If you do then definitely go here.

This is hands down the best bakery in Aberdeen. The food is well prepared, the staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Seemed a bit expensive for a carton of orange juice potato scones and a can of coke at £6.70 check out person didn't tell me my total till I asked which was odd. Maybe prices just gone up

Asked for recommendations and did not regret it, I think this was the fudge? Thingy? ? I'm sorry I couldn't quite remember the name of it, but the lovely staff recommended it to me.

The fudge tied everything together! So affordable too!
May be too sweet to be eaten in one go but my god was each bite delightful!

Will come back for more recs from the staff!
