Wheelchair accessibility: Not relating to wheelchair but one of our party has an artificial leg and found the stairs quite difficult, a challenge, he made it up but was sore by the time he sat down.My question is why don't you have a lift to reach the restaurant.

Classic top-notch restaurant. The views are great, saw dolphins swimming into the harbour during the meal.Atmosphere is relaxed. Seating, dinnerware, and interior all very well considered. The food was delicious. Had scallops with edamame and pork belly, it had just the right amount of everything. Same goes for the main of halibut with crab crust. The celeriac, crab emulsion, and halibut compliment one another and the crispy kale was the cherry on top that tied the whole dish together. Never thought I'd say that about kale!Soft drink, starter, and main for £50. Bargain for the quality of the experience.

was delicious! The scenery is beautiful and it feels great when the weather is nice.

The best seafood restaurants in Aberdeen. Their mollusk and shrimp vermicelli is simply spectacular.

We went to the Silver Darling with four in the evening. The positives remain, a great view with ships passing by and the food quality is excellent. We had great starters, mains and desserts, mainly fish but also the meat dishes are great and the specials are nice as well. We were a bit disappointed by the fact you really have to ask for bread and when it comes it is not a lot with a strange tasting butter. Most unfortunate was that we were forgotten for quite a while before being served. They apologised, but service can be inconsistent.

The food is great, but the manager of the restaurant is an absolute douchebag. I've been coming there for years, as food is excellent, but I always see his face, he's so dull and unwelcoming, quite rude and not friendly at all! I have NEVER seen him smile, he's never said anything nice to me or my family/friends, whomever I was with. He needs to get a grip honestly.Apart from him, lovely place, great service and great food.

The location of the restaurant is very good, the seafood food is absolutely surprising, and the service attitude is very friendly; the daily catch number of the day is reported on the wall, and the seats are close to the window. You can also watch the ships entering and leaving the port while eating, and the view is first-class!

I'd never been here before but always wanted too so for my birthday, I decided to take my mum which was a bad decision on my part as I hadn't realised they had no lift to the restaurant itself only a spiral staircase. We should have left, but my mum tried and did eventually get up to the 1st floor, where we enjoyed a very nice lunch. It was Aberdeen restaurant week the menu was restricted but still a good choice, 2 male staff were very good 1 especially who helped take my mum down the spiral staircase. The strange thing was they had a disabled toilet but no lift or an easier way for older and disabled people to enjoy the food and view's. I am very annoyed with myself for not checking or asking about access for the elderly or disabled and not walking away when we first came in the door. It's disappointing that this is not made more visible on the website or staff make people aware when phoning to book a table as it spoiled a lovely lunch.

We had a lovely walk down to the pier and arrived 20 minutes early. No wardrobe was available, and we had to bring our coats to the table. The table was not ready, and we had to wait. Menu and winelist were presented. We choose a muscadet wine with an acidic character, mussles, scallops, cod, and halibut. The sides seemed to be a problem for the waitress to recommend, so we just skipped them. Don't know if she was offended in any way. She seemed quite rude to me. We had to pour the still water we ordered, ourselves. The wine arrived. A pleasant experience to our delight. The scallops were soggy, the saus on the dish quite acidic. Seems like the dish had been ready for service for some time. The mussles were hot but had a peculiar taste of indefinable spices. At this point, my expectations for the main dishes were low. The welcoming feeling from earlier visits was gone. We had to chew on that feeling for some time before the mains arrived. The ultimate halibut perfection impressed me. A total pleasure and joy. It did not need any side dish. The same goes for the cod on a bed of potato pure. The creamy saus were a divine symphony of taste. The feeling of incompleteness left and a sweet fulfilment overpowered my anxiousness. Desserts were ordered. Baileys parfait and sticky toffee pudding. Two relatives of the best. Tastes and texture in the most complete way. We will probably be back next year.

My favourite restaurant in Aberdeen. The crab straw fries are a particular highlight every time. Brilliant service and restaurant called a taxi for us too. Will be back again and again :)

Been here during my holidays in Aberdeen for a family lunch. We has scallops and fish soup as starter and 2 whole seabass as main while my little one had a margherita with chips.I eat excellent quality of fish prepared and presented very well.My only thumb down was for the margherita as it looks more like a quiche and my doughter had only a bite, but I don t want to judge this as we are italian and pizza for us is something else.A part this I can say that in 10years in UK this is the first time I ve had a fish so delicious. The restaurant is well presented and the location In the harbour is amazing! That s I big plus to me ➕️I will defitenely come back in case I ll be around!Parking: There is room for 4 cars infront of the restaurant

Although the food was tasty, the service was absolutely appalling!! I heard the same from a few people but thought not to believe it and try it myself, and oh my goodness were they right! Two young waitresses were sullen and glaring at everyone in the restaurant. I went in smiling and left feeling quite sad, and when I asked for assistance they actually rolled their eyes. I’ve never complained once in my life but genuinely had to write about my experience. Not acceptable with such high prices. Shame that such terrible service lets down the yummy food!!

Nice place to go for lunch or dinner. It's near to the coast so outside sceneries is awesome. Food options are mostly fish which you must try along with some other options for meat. Very less options for veg. Service is good.
