We had a great experience at Little owls. We went for a coffee and some cake. The coffee was great. My wife had an iced coffee and she enjoyed it. We both had a cake. I had the "new" double decker and my wife had a bit white millionaire shortbread. The staff were great and so was the service. We will definitely be back to try more cake. Thanks.Kid-friendliness: The cafe was great for my son. They had colouring pencils and books for him.Parking: There is street parking close to the cafe.

Great gem of a place in Alva. By far the best café in the area! Great menu with good vegetarian options, and a fantastic selection of cakes. Dog friendly too though space is a bit limited!

Probably not the best place to go if you just want to grab a quick coffee to go.I was drawn in by an incredible scent of fresh coffee that I unfortunately was unable to purchase. There was no greeting from the staff, though I was asked to close the entrance door as it got stuck upon being opened. I waited 5 minutes and left as the manager seemed preoccupied with sales for a catering service I guess they also run from front of house and there was already guests at several tables waiting to be served.Very claustrophobic environment, cosy I suppose they call it.

I cannot believe how lucky we are in Alva to have such a genuinely wonderful wee eatery in our midst. The service is always friendly, the food is always delicious and freshly prepared, and the portions are more than worth the price.If you live in Alva, or are passing through, you have to make a stop here.Vegetarian options: Always plenty of options for vegetarians to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Happy to accommodate my daughter’s pickiness, and amend the ingredients of things to her taste.

This wee cafe does brilliant soup and had an excellent selection for you it's fair priced and has some friendly staff who are always warm and welcoming you don't wait too long on food either and you can sit inside or out :)
