Booked a table here for Mother’s Day this year. I have been before but not for a good while. Lovely, friendly service from the owner Alison. The food was amazing and so fresh! I had fish and chips and my mum has Cajun chicken. Both lovely! We really loved the chips. Nice skin on fries. Sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble for dessert were amazing too! Next time I’ll definitely be trying the pizza. Would definitely recommend a wee visit to here.

Thanks for the good service.I would recommend anyone visiting Alba to eat here. The food is definitely better than many other pubs where they only serve convenience food.

The No 5 Inn: A Hidden Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Had a fantastic dinner here after an invigorating hike to Smugglers cave in Alva. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. My only small suggestion would be to improve the ventilation; the fog was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife! ? Nevertheless, I'll be back for more great meals! ?️?

Lovely pub with fantastic food. We went a walk to the Waterfalls and Smugglers Cave and called at the pub on our way back.Excellent service from the landlady who welcomed us and our 3 dogs.We ordered the lasagne and the steak pie which was well presented and delicious.The lasagne was served with chips salad and coleslaw, the pie served chips and vegetables.Both meals superb value for money and very high quality.We enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to recommend.Thank you from Andy Karen and the dogs ? ?

Visited the No.5 Inn for the Christmas menu dinner as a party of 10. Food was amazing and portions were huge. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They looked after so well and the table was decorated beautifully with Santa hats. Thank you very much, everyone loved the whole experience.

Yet again, another fantastic meal here. Anyone who hasn't been must try! Starter of mussels in a garlic sauce spot on! Main of fish & chips fab! Dessert of homemade pavlova fantastic! Compliments to the chef & very attentive waiting staff.
Booked for Sunday lunch, had a starter of Leek & Potato soup, served with a hot bread roll/butter (home made) tasty. Mains they only doing roast beef, but plenty of it and was tender. Looked after at the table by Sarah, who made us welcolme. A great 1st visit.
