This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The buffet help yourself breakfast is a great idea and plenty choice! Would highly recommend this dog friendly accommodation for a lovely relaxed stay.

Stop in now and again for coffee or lunch. Always good food and service.

The lodge is very clean and comfy the host Gareth was lovely very friendly and helpful. The lounge and kitchen were very clean the free breakfast was great with a range of cereals, fresh fruit, toast and hot and cold beverages. There's a TV and a range of games and books to use, I would definitely stay there again

The dog and I recovered here for three nights after our West Highland Way hike. Perfect place for that - very cozy room, fantastic showers, well equipped communal kitchen, downstairs cafe, nice easy walks along the Lochside. Gareth has been an amazing host.Look no further for a quiet stay at the countryside! The included breakfast is a bit limited, to fruit, cereal, yoghurt and buttered toast. And coffee and tea, of course. If you need more, bring some supplies, or head downstairs if the cafe is open.

Beautiful place and beautiful people. Room was very comfortable and we slept like a logs. Homemade pies and unussual breakfast was amazing. We definitely recommended and we will be back!!! ?

Lovely for coffee and cake. Dog friendly, whole family run. Lovely settees and clever cable drum tables and rope lights. Great to go as a couple or to meet friends. The sort of place you speak to other customers. Loved it.Food & drinks: Home cooked generous portion cakes and bakes.

Beautiful little hidden gem! Our room was very cosy and the shared living area / kitchen was a great addition. Wish we could have tried to cafe but we had to start early for a long drive and we couldn’t wait until they opened at 10am :( it looked lovely though!

Good value and a great location for explorers, though mobile service is (expectedly) spotty. The staff were happy to help when I had car trouble and needed to stay past check-out time. The carpeted bathrooms were the only oddity.Arachnophobes should beware visiting in the Autumn - there were a few smaller leggy lodgers in the room which I didn't mind. However I left my suitcase open overnight, a fatal mistake. After leaving and re-opening it, I discovered an eight legged monster that looked like it killed horses for fun had claimed my luggage for its own.I claimed victory only by tossing the entire contents onto the ground, and then fencing against it with a large stick until it scurried into the undergrowth, probably to eat someone's dog.

We had a one night stay at the lodge with our dog Murphy. We had lunch at the café upon arrival where I indulged in the scuffin, which was delicious and followed it up with a walnut and coffee cake which again was fantastic. We then checked and popped over to the loch for a walk and swim, it took 5 minutes to walk there as it's right across the road. That evening we ate in the bar where i had the meat platter and my partner the vegan platter, both were very filling and tasted great. Murphy joined us for our meals and stayed in the room as they whole place is very dog friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and the shower nice and hot, coffee available in the room, cereals and yogurt available in the shared kitchen. The following day we had brunch before we left and took some of the tasty cakes with us for the road of which the carrott cake was excellent. Will definitely stay again

Lovely quiet place to stay, self service for breakfast of cereals and toast which was nice and do at your own leisure with a good choice.
