Had lunch here recently, the soup was delicious as was the panini, coffee was great, however was so disappointed with the slice of Victoria sponge, which had obviously been bought in, not their usual standard ?

We found this place by a chance, as we were waiting for our train. But I couldn't be happier, this place was absolutely magical. We had hot chocolates and a tea as we didn't have much time, but everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. If I haven't lived over 2000kms away from this place, I would be a regular customer for sure.

Great little place with a nice interior and friendly staff. I wish there were more vegan options and a vegan scone would’ve been amazing. The soup of the day was vegan (and very delicious) and the vegan lemon and poppy seed cake was also nice. They had alternative milks too.

Well another cafe that offers ghastly stale coffee, I've only given two stars and that is solely for the cake, a great selection and moist and delicious. The staff were lovely too, but please, offer a decent cup of coffee and stop buying the cheapest beans in town. It was quite frankly foul, both the cappuccino (which had no foam and no offer of chocolate powder) and the late (which did have foam) the worst I've tasted in years and both were thrown in the bin. Ugh!Quite a nice place though, probably a sought after lunch spot, bright, friendly and 'open'.

Was given a voucher as a gift for afternoon tea. First visit to this eatery. Extremely friendly staff. Was given the opportunity to choose from their menu despite out voucher was for afternoon tea. We chose a home cooked Turkish meal which was absolutely delicious. Left some room for home baked carrot cake, again delicious. Would highly recommend this tea room for breakfast or lunch or just a quick coffee. Our bill was more than the voucher but as a good will gesture we didn't have to pay anything. Thanks to Sultan and her staff.

Random walk in and we were pleasantly surprised at a very good experience. Large tea room with a very wide menu so Something for everyone. I have the soup and baked tattie with chicken tikka. The lentil soup was proper home made lentil soup. My partner had a curve ball choice ( we cannot remember the name) which was equally good. Friendly staff 2 sparkling waters and the dishes seen in the photo were £28. Worth a visit …

Walked past a few times and decided one day to check it out - I’m pleased we did…the food was absolutely faultless. The decor is nice, bright, and airy which really adds a sense of warmth to the atmosphere. It was quiet when we visited - service was quick for both food and drinks. Menu is plentiful with something for everyone. I had the American style toastie, daughter had a sandwich from the children’s menu - came with fruit and veg on the side…she loved it. Will visit again when next visiting family
