Breakfast was ok - good value - slice sausage good, egg anemic, bacon quite fatty, toast burnt. No Heinz ketchup - need to use sachets - taste good but really annoying to use. Several WiFi systems, none of which work. Very quiet inside - and not very welcoming. Key required for clean toilet. Conclusion - ok but only as a last resort. Better going to the Palazzo or Melbourne if they are not too busy.

Absolute joke of a place my best advice is to completely avoid. The staff aren’t the friendliest and the food is honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had, it’s tasteless, bland and cheap ingredients and the staff Cleary don’t care whatsoever I ordered chips and gravy the gravy was all powdered lumps inside it still? I ordered a tuna panini it was brown tuna and bright yellow/orange mayo? And tasted awful so had one bite and threw it away! Don’t waste your money or time go elsewhere!

A staple of the area, this cafe has been around as long as I can remember. Great service, good food. A great pit stop when exploring the South Beach.

The Cheery Cup and Saucer in Ardrossan has always been my favourite place to stop before a ferry trip to Arran! Visiting this lovely little cafe over the past 10 years has been an absolute delight, with such friendly and quick service and high quality freshly cooked food from the lovely ladies at the this cafe. We highly recommend this lovely place, and a perfect stop before or after the ferry to Arran!

In a world where there is a vegan cafe round the corner thank god places like the cheery cup still exist to provide cheer.
