This is without a doubt the best Indian takeaway in Ross Shire, trust me. We do a 70 minute round trip to get one. Be warned though once you have had a Gabi's your usual takeout will appear to be bland rubbish.

Don't be deceived by the outside (dont judge a book by its cover), this takeaway has a great selection of Indian cuisine. It was extremely tasty, excellent portion size & reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options throughout the menu whatever your taste of spice or flavour.Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is gluten free, however you only need to let them know your dietary needs and they will try to accommodate where possible.

Sadly our latest experience wasn't great. They now only take cash, not card, and as the local cashpoint wasn't working we had to drive to get cash. We explained this when we went in to collect the order (we'd phoned it in). When I returned and paid we then got told that they had run out of one of our items and we'd have a 10 minute wait for it. By the time this was all ready, it was 30 minutes after our original collection slot. When we got home with the food 10 minutes later it was barely warm. This is not usually the case and it therefore appears the food had not been kept warm properly. We had a timescale to adhere to for later and therefore returning the food was not an option. All had to be reheated in microwave, not great for the amount of money spent. Sadly will be a long time before we return.

Didn't expect a indian restaurant on this village and yes the food was good but still the rice seems to be frozen one and they reheat it. So i would recommend for roti or nan which they make fresh and nice.
First time trying this while up here on holiday.We had mixed starters, chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfresi, Chanda masala and garlic naan.The starters were fine, chicken pakora was the best of them. Chicken tikka masala was good so they were the highs. The lows were the hatred I far too greasy as was the garlic naan it was dripping with the butter and was stodgy not nice at all. So half and half for our experience.

Sorry to be writing this review but Gabis used to be great and the food still is but the service has gone down hill from wrong orders to waiting much longer than told for my order I do hope the service improves soon or I may not return
