Hands down the best chip shop I've had in the last few years. We were a little overwhelmed with the selections on the menu, but the staff with some suggestions, I ordered the double cheese burger supper you can have the choice of salad and sauce and we didn't have to wait long for our food also great and friendly staff.
Reaonably priced considering everywhere has had to put their prices up. Everything was cooked fresh, but well worth the wait. This can be a very busy shop from 4-7 so perhaps go a little later or just as they open. This is not in the city so expect everything to take a little more tiime. Fish was in a crispy batter and the chips plentiful and tasty. I have been here several times and the staff are always helpful and friendly, guiding me through the menu. I honestly don't know what people are moaning about-see previous reviews. We were on holiday at Craig Tara,only few minutes drive to chippy. Fish was crispy and hot,hubby got 3 sausages in his sausage supper. Everything has gone up in price,fish and chips not a cheap meal any more-i have relatives in Ayr and they said this is average price for the area Will definitely use again next year
