Oh man we miss the papa johns in ayr. Such great vegan snacks and veggie pizzas. My sisters would travel from troon for a pizza night at mine bc I was privileged to have one in ayr. Now it’s closed I guess I have to move.

Liars, if I could get away giving no stars I would! Been told for an hour and a half late delivery wait that the order was with the delivery driver but they couldn't phone him because he had no phone to check where he was up to. It had been in his car for the last half hour apparently. Two hungry kids and a load of toast later we managed to feed them, question is will the refund arrive anytime quicker than the pizza? The pizza never did arrive, wonder how the delivery driver knew that the order was cancelled if he had no phone ???

Used to be good . Unfortunately my order seemed rushed, the meaty pizza was quite tasteless, the garlic pizza sticks dough was thicker and undercooked, not crispy and tasty like normal, the brownie wasn't cooked properly in the middle, the chicken poppers were still nice.

whatever the change in dough is change it back! its thicker and not cooked well.

Hit and Miss - sometimes it is awesome - piping hot pizzas and sides with a good amount of toppings and delivered quickly. Other times delivery is late, food is lukewarm and they skimp on the toppings or dump the cheese on so you have steamed / soggy pepperoni. Chocolate scrolls are delicious when done right but they usually skimp on the chocolate sauce and shavings making them not worth the money. Need to up the consistency.

Absolutely shocking communication skills. Chapped the door and left it on the step without someone answering the door then costumer service is very poor when phoning to ask where is was. Never getting for papa John ayr again.

Good pizza, wee expensive but best pizza I've had in awhile.
Got a large pizza about 7 tonight and was served by a long haired man in the Ayr store (wish I'd asked his name) customer service was 5 star and the pizza was amazing.Also gave me a better deal cash wise for my pizza than I expected to pay, he stretched the doe to perfection and put the perfect amount of ingredients on with the perfect amount of sauce (I worked for dominos for years so I know good pizza)?

Sadly I can’t give less than 1 star.....Despite having pre-booked delivery slots, they were over 45minutes late. The order was wrong and when I phoned up to get things corrected the member of staff was less than helpful.Instead of simply organising a replacement order and getting it delivered, the staff were persistent and adamant I had to attend the store. Leaving my own food to go cold and having to mix with folk during social distancing measures.After 15 odd minutes of hassle back and forth they finally conceded to delivering a new order. Which again was still wrong.

Delivered us someone else’s order an hour after placing ours.Called and they said they would get ours to us straight away. True to there word 20 mins later our order arrived. Pizza stone cold and rubbery. Obviously they had been sitting in the shop ready since the original order was placed. They even took away the wrong order no doubt to deliver it stone cold to to the rightful owner. Pretty poor
