Huge disappointment. I find it really hard to comprehend how you forget to add chips to a fish supper. Made all the worse as it was a requested treat for my now very frail elderly mum. The look disappointment on her face was hard to take. She lives 10 miles away so I couldn't go back for chips.I was charged £9.75, so I checked the menu online. £8 for a small fish supper, a fritter 75p, leaving £1 for a buttered roll to complete the fritter roll. Meaning I had definitely ordered chips with the fish.1st time customer, obviously will never return.

The staff in this shop are amazing. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are well looked after. They have helped my mother on numerous occasions when she has been too ill to go to the shop in person. The food is excellent and the prices are good too. I thoroughly recommend The Vesta and send a big thank you to all its staff for making our lives a bit easier! Keep up the good work guys ??

Just moved to the area so trying out takeaways Friendly on phone chicken wrap and half chicken freshly cooked and tasty speedy delivery but quality was not compromised. Use again as I am disabled and elderly so night ? off for hubby.Thank you

We ordered from here tonight and the batter was wet and soggy. The chips were dry and cold. The beef burger never tasted like meat. Very very disappointed! Used to be the best cafe in Ayr!

As an ex-taxi driver, I can honestly say that in my opinion, The Vesta Fish & Chip shop at Tams Brig Ayr is the best in the area and we use them every weekend, they now have a real pizza oven with great pizzas ?
