On Saturday 30.03.24 we pop in to get lunch and a couple of drinks,were happy enough to get us seated straight away even though we never booked and it was on a busy bank holiday weekend.The food was good.I ordered the steak with chips staff happy enough to add broccoli to my lunch and my friend got the chicken pie also really good , excellent atmosphere and enough staff on to cover the busy day .

Me and my deaf friend attended the restaurant - and found the service to be quite goodGranted the young lady who greeted us looked a bit terrified when my friend started signing asking for a table for 2; but we were served by a lovely girl Rachel - she was very attentive and patient and we were both very impressed with her attention to deaf awareness ; and when my friend asked in sign about where the toilet was she worked out what he was asking … overall very impressed : I did ask Rachel if she knew BSL and she said she didn’t speak it but remembered bits she had learned while at school … overall a very enjoyable experience for me and my deaf friend … would definitely reccomend again!!

Went with my work mates for a girls day out, we all ordered different things from the menu and all the food was delicious. Great price, great quality and drinks prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this pub.

Food is really tasty, plenty of options too. Kids menu is the normal nuggets etc, would have been nice to see a little more variety. Not too expensive, and in a good location.Parking: There's parking further up the street, but not many spaces. A few car parks around but expect a shirt walk.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't be my first choice for bringing a couple of toddlers or something, but there's a kids menu, kids are welcome, but its not aimed at kids.

Really nice bar area, good choice for food and drinks, however, they are dog friendly but you are made to sit right at the back with no atmosphere and the main thoroughfares for both the toilets and the kitchen.

Arrived around 2.45 shown to table ordered food and drinks drinks arrived cutlery arrived food was a no show after an hour we asked what was happening .To be told a large booking had arrived half hour late and it had thrown everything back. By 30 mins . Well no sorry if a booking is late thats their problem not customer that are left waiting with no communication . Daughter was going to work so we couldn't wait any longer 2 Yr old was really upset about not getting her treat with family only to be told you wouldn't charge for 3 juices a fruit shoot and a pint of lager.the only one that had drank was the 2 Yr old the rest of drinks were left as we ordered to go along with the missing food . My daughter myself and my husband have all worked in hospitality industry daughter is actually a chef for a large brewery chain .if a booking is late then you don't pander to them they should be told as your late you have other customers waiting .not amused and definitely won't return
