Terrible service today 5th July am. Very impolite woman server. No highland hospitality here, a wee thank you and please go a long way. Perhaps it was because I'm not a local!!!!!!!!

Fantastic little store, much larger than it looks from the front. Lady serving was very friendly and they had a great range of Australian food.

What a find!!\\nThe best local shop there ever was… Amazing service, great local knowledge, the sausage rolls are something else and as for the affric trail whiskey?? Magical, especially with a bit of chocolate!\\nThank you for all your help. I will certainly be making an online order now I’m back home ?

Fantastic local store that stocks a coffee machine that produces decent coffee, and nice shop clerks who'll whip up fresh skin-on chips (of the freshly cut variety- not pre-cut tatties from Maccas!) that taste fantastic and give a nice hot treat after a long cold day.

Very useful before going on a day of hiking, knowledgeable cashier, great choice of whisky. Ask about the teapots;-)

As an Aussie so far from home I was thrilled to see Tim Tams, Allen’s lollies and Kangaroo meat. Heaps of other antipodean delicacies on display too! Onya Spar Cannich!!

We have been holidaying in Cannich for 22 years and always seemed to get on with the staff at the spar. That changed on the 1st wk of April. I was scouled at, at the door bcos i forgot my mask. A day or two later, 2 of my grandsons (school children) were ejected from the shop as they also forgot to take their masks. As they went to walk back to the campsite, they were told, you can stay in the shop if you each buy a mask at £2.99 each, masks that are peanuts to buy. Blatant robbery, considering most other shops who want you in their shop to spend money provide them. I am very angry at the way we have been treated. The attitude of the lady who served me the 1st day we were in Cannich & who also ejected the children was shocking. The children refused to go back in after that. We decided to spend the shopping money in Inverness. We spend a small fortune in the spar every year we are there, but thats the last!

Absolutely lovely people! So helpful whilst we have been staying here in tomich. Directed us to the nearest walking areas for us and our dogs, which gave stunning views of the surrounding area. The shop is incredibly well stocked. And both owners/managers have lovely attitudes when speaking/serving you.

Very helpful staff, the lady at the counter directed me to a really nice walk in Affric and was so nice and welcoming.Great range of whisky as well which is surprising for such a small store, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

To say the woman who served me today was rude would be an understatement! NEVER have I met anyone so rude, impolite and quite aggressive in her manner. If I wasn't in need of something to eat urgently I would have gone else where. Will NOT be returning to that Spar again.A little smile, a polite gesture goes along way.

Had a pleasant visit to Cannich stores (29/08/21). The member of staff who dealt with me (Sara) was polite, friendly and most helpful. I'd stayed in Cannich previously in November 2001 with my late wife at the Glen Affric Hotel which now no longer exists. Sara explained the situation surrounding its demise in 2019. Also purchased a delightful locally produced Whiskey (Affric Trail) which is exclusive to Cannich stores, which I can recommend. Gateway to an unspoiled remnant of the ancient Caledonian Forest that is Glen Affric, Cannich is a hidden gem of the Scottish Highlands which can be easily overlooked as it is off the beaten track, but please check it out. You won't be disappointed !

The lady working behind the counter has a very ignorant attitude and nasty aggressive manner so I walked out without purchasing any goods and did a 34 mile round trip to the Co-op in Beauly as the staff there are friendly, welcoming and very polite. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Not just your typical Spar. Also place where you can get amazing homemade skin on chips. Huge and satisfying...The lady who works there is also super friendly as I have had an opportunity to have a wee chat with her when she could take a little break. Place I will definitely visit again once I'm around.
