Went in around 4pm (2 adults, 2 children) and it took a while for us, and the people already waiting, to be seated. The staff were polite which is a plus.We looked through the menu and ordered the trio of mini pies, the big stack burger and kids food. In the picture of my trio of pies I'd eaten half of a mini pie and nothing else £13.29 for a rather lacklustre portion I'd say.The "big stack" burger left much to the imagination, dry and very sad looking in comparison to what the menu showed. Kids meal size was OK but there's only 1 size portion no matter the age of the child. The old brewers fayre menu had a lot more variety and different portion size options depending on the child's age.We had also ordered 2 kids brownies only to be told, after waiting once the mains had been cleared, that there were none and to chose an alternative. All in all not the best experience and the food is just about everage at best.

Met with friends to indulge in the 2 meals for £10.95 - you get what you pay for. Staff seemed nice enough when ordering at the counter however my friend is in a wheelchair and they were less than attentive when I was trying to get her through the doors. Just watched me struggle...can always tell if staff are valued by the management and company through their serving skills. Say no more!Vegetarian options: Very little veggie options

We booked here for my daughter's first birthday celebrations, mainly because of the soft play area for her big brother and slightly older cousins, so they could all have fun. When we arrived our tables were in the furthest away corner, but adjacent to the soft play area, so not a bad location. We were a bit disappointed to find that each child needed to pay an extra £4.50 each, despite the fact we were dining as well. The "carvery" leaves a lot to be desired. The "King" carvery allowed me 4 slices of meat. I've never seen thinner or smaller slices of roast beef and roast pork. The chef certainly wasn't generous! The roast potatoes were dry. The stuffing balls could have doubled as snooker balls, they were so hard and dry. In fact, Miley Cyrus could have used them as wrecking balls. The gravy was so extremely watery, it was difficult to know how a chef could pass it off as gravy and not dirty dish water. Staff were attentive enough and we had no complaints there. Just a pity the standard of food remains so poor in such places. I tend to avoid Brewer's Fayre establishments because of this. I'll be avoiding again in the future.

We decided to try here due to it having the soft play, when we arrived 4 meme ers of staff behind the bar, not one came over to greet us or even say I'll be with you in a minute, avoided eye contact too, eventually after quite a few people coming in behind us I went up to the bar to ask if we just sit down our selves or if someone is coming to seat us, eventually someone came out. We got told it was order at the bar which was fine, I went to order and had to wait 15 minutes as they didn't have enough staff to deal with guests coming in, people ordering at the bar, and the queue at the carvery, the food took around 1 hour to come out, and unfortunately the steak was overcooked and chips cold. The softplay was absolute jam packed and £4.50 per child. The prices on the menu were reasonable but unfortunately I won't be back.

AVOID, Would get better customer care at the McDonald’s across the road. My partner and I went in for food last night. No one was there to greet us. A young man appeared and asked if we had any dietary requirements. It seemed promising. However; 20 minutes went by and we had been attempting to get the waitress & waiters attention to order food. I then went up to the bar and asked if someone could take our drink & food order. The young man said “no you order it up here” I expressed he did not explain this to us but asked for my dietary requirements when we walked in? He responded “yes well it’s up here so now you know”. The waitress & waiter were more interested in there gossip sessions than working. Finally, the manager came out the kitchen, this woman spent 15 minutes cleaning up the drinks station which was clearly not needing cleaned up. The food arrived and the only way I could explain this food is, MICROWAVED. Also we ordered starters and main courses and they brought everything out together which confused me. My main was cold by the time we finished our nachos. Never again. It’s nice to be nice, customer service needs practiced, and an explanation on the order system needs fixed.

Service and atmosphere were great. The food I had was very poor. I went with the carvery option, the meats were good, but the veggies very poor. The roast potatoes were dry , god only knows what was done with the stuffing (didn't even taste like stuffing) . Got to say the purried carrot and turnip was a let down... at least I think it was turnip. Really need to up their game .

We had a family meal here today and it was really dissapointing. I ordered cheese and onion pie with skin on fries and peas. What came was a pie with chunks of potato in it, no cheese or onion to be seen, and mashed potato instead of fries. There was no explanation given as to why the menu had changed and I just ate it. It was like eating a plateful of potato and pie crust. We then ordered desserts and I asked for banoffee cheesecake with vanilla ice cream. There was no ice cream on the plate and again, no explanation. The staff were lovely though and I didn't want to complain but I don't think I would go back there again. Last time we went we got parking tickets for being in the carpark right outside their doors. Apparently the car park belongs to the hotel next door and brewers fayre customers are not allowed to park there!! Today, the cameras weren't working so we parked there but only after asking would it be ok or are we risking a parking ticket. The food just isn't up to the price they are charging for it and if something is unavailable we should have been asked if we want an alternative, not just given it!! Last ever visit for me. There are much better places, better food and better prices!!

We had a provisional Christmas day booking, so decided to try the food. Table for 11 was giveng away, so we separated our party. Service so slow and no requests followed e.g. bring kids meals with starter.Vinegar had floaters in it, and thankfully we were offered a refund for spoiled meals. Much appreciated as was the apology. The frog in the restaurant was one step too far, although kids thought it amusing. We have decided not to come at Christmas after all.

Don’t recommend! It’s a RACIST place!I used to go with my family for lunch on the weekends, also my son had his birthday there last year, but over the last few months the service has dropped a lot, waiting 30/40 minutes for a meal, when the food arrives it's cold. The kids menu is completely tasteless, vegetables (carrots and cucumber) are dry, and don’t permit anymore to bring the Mc Donald’s (in the front) for the kids even if you are in 4 adults to eat and 1 kid.Not to mention the service, always an excuse to not do what they advertise. To conclude today was the last chance we gave to this place. We saw on the website an available space to book for the 2:15, when we get there (2:16), the attendant said it was 45 to 1 hour wait, so we checked again the website and book an available space for the 2:30pm, when we showed the booking she (Donna) made a point of making us wait and saying that as they were full and their reservation website didn't work , so there was no space for us, while another family arrived and was properly guided to the table. Obviously Donna is a racist attendant, grumpy, and unprepared for a full day on the eve of a holiday. No intention to come back anymore, and hope the management change soon, may other people will not be so patient like us and call the police for Donna!

Stayed at the neighbouring Premier Inn.A friendly welcome on entering, and seated very quickly whether for breakfast or evening meals.Staff always had time to ask you how you were and how your day had been.Food was top notch and always served hot, portions were just the right size to leave you enough space for a sneaky dessert.A good choice of drinks from soft drinks, to beers, shorts and cocktails.A comfortable pub, which had a lot of contractors staying at the Premier Inn, but there was always space and it wasn't too crowded.Great service from Kathryn, Donna, and Kai (whose last night it was) in particular.Parking: A lot of contractors staying at Premier Inn while we were there, so the car park was quite full every night.Remember to register your car when you arrive, for the free parking.

Stayed at the neighbouring Premier Inn for 3 nights and used Bellziehill Farm for breakfast and evening meal. Food was outstanding on all occasions. Accommodating staff amended meals for my daughters request (corn on the cob, pack up breakfast for one day). The staffs work ethic, customer interaction and general customer service was wonderful and refreshing. Nothing was too much of a problem.Thank you for making our weekend even better.?Team WKA England.
