Overall the stay was fantastic. We stayed in an eco pod, which was well equipped and comfortable. Our only major gripe was that there was no hot water for a shower - or certainly no obvious way of getting the shower to produce hot water! A more minor complaint is there was no one around to speak to - the office seemed to always be closed , whilst the contact free check in suits most people , there should really be someone on hand in case of any issues - ie the lack of hot water ! But a beautiful site , well equipped and maintained and over all we had a great stay, thanks so much !

I have been there before, and now I went back with 3 more couples and their children. The experience was really nice again, we had a really good time. I would only “complain about the head showers, the water goes all over the cubicle and doesn’t have much pressure, but that’s not a big deal. I would come back for sure !!

We stayed here in one of the WigWam pods for New Year, 2 adults, 2 young children and 2 springer spaniels ! The pods are cosy, clean and spacious, we brought bedding and blankets as it was forecast to snow and with the heating we were very snug ! The site is fantastic, beautiful and there is east foot access to the fire trails through the forest with spectacular views of the mountains, perfect for morning walks. For families, the play equipment and facilities were great, including a climbing net, covered sports arena and giant climbing frame (and monkey rings over the pond, which we didn’t attempt due to the weather ?) From the pods the kids could play out and enjoy their freedom, the site felt really friendly and safe. The toilets and washrooms were warm and clean and easily accessible. The location is perfect, a 10 min drive from Aviemore and only 15 mins from Cairngorm Mountain Ski Resort. The welcome was lovely and communication was great, the access was snow covered and icy due to the weather but the site had kindly pre-warned us of this and we were in a 4wd so was no problem ?? As well as the pods they also have some amazing looking lodges available too. If you are the adventurous type who likes camping , forest walks and cosy nights this is the place for you , we absolutely loved it and will be back ! Thank you all at Badaguish x ? ?️ ?

An excellent base for a beautiful race. Well organised and great support from the holiday makers for all the runners. I finished with a bruised bump on my head and blood dripping down my leg and I got some very kind sympathetic support approaching the end. A big PB and only superficial cuts so very happy. The surrounding area is beautiful for walking with woodland trails and mountain views. Loch Morlich nearby too. The accommodation looks awesome. Well worth an internet search

We had a great time staying in the pods as a base for our winter sports with our young family. It was clean, warm and more spacious than we expected. The cookhouse and showers are close by. We would recommend staying here.

Went to stay in an Eco Pod at the weekend while on a swimming trip with friends. Got there on the Sat evening only to find I had booked the wrong date and the pods were fully booked !!! Thankfully the team were very understanding and instead arranged for us to stay in one of their lodges which happened to be available. It turns out it was much more suitable for us and allowed us to dry off our wetsuits etc in the dry room and enjoy a lovely morning swim at Loch Vaa the next day. We had a brilliant nights sleep and would highly recommend to anyone having an adventure in the area. Thank you Team Badaguish

Stayed in a camping pod for 2 nights as a family of 5. Pod is comfy, warm and has a fridge, kettle and microwave. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Stunning location and the drive from the main road is simply beautiful. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are spotless. WiFi worked really well in the pod which is a bonus with a teenager. Onsite catering provided by Speyside Kitchen is worth a visit the food is amazing and they can provide catering packages for your stay.

I ordered some food to be delivered as a birthday surprise up near Aviemore, and it was an easy, extremely positive process. A huge range of wonderful-sounding menu options for my vegetarian friend, excellent value, very professional service and friendly local delivery. The feedback was that it was absolutely delicious food. The best experience - thank you so much, Claire and Sarah!

We opted for this wigwam stay due to the location and walk from Aviemore which is approximately five miles walk from the centre into the woods. Easy to get to via foot if you are walking via the Old Logging Way. We arrived after check-In time which is until 5pm so the site does self check-in in which they leave the keys in the door to the wigwam and you just head off there after checking in on the cairngorms track and trace. Probably the fastest check-in Iv'e ever done at a camping or wigwam site. The facilities were good for the size of the site with two toilet blocks, all clean and ready to use for visitors. There's also an electricity card box (You need to buy electric) but this didn't work for any of the pound coins we took along and we had about 30 of them... So we headed over to the wigwam and the electricity was plenty. There's a heater, microwave, kettle and fridge which is super convenient but absolutely nowhere to buy food or drinks on site which makes no sense. I was told by reception the closest place was about 5 miles (Aviemore) so it's lucky we purchased our stuff before we walked there! The site is clean, well presented and hosts Log Cabins, Wigwams and camping so there's an assortment of things to choose from. Our two night stay cost us £153.00 in total so it's around an average price for wigwams across Scotland. The site is very good in relation to it's location and walking distance from a fair few big walks which is ideal (And the purpose of our trip) and there's also a pub serving hot food/beers and drinks around 2 miles away at the loch. There's also a shop at the loch. The site also has WIFI for those needing it but it didn't work during the stay. You can connect to it but nothing loads. That's not important though as we were camping and I prefer not to have WIFI. Overall I'd recommend the place. It's suited to groups, Families, Clubs, Couples and pretty much everyone else. Our visit was a Tuesday Night until Wednesday night.

Stayed with family, beautiful location, short drive to Loch and beach. Not too far from town. Lodge well equipped. Great value for money. This was our 1st stay in a Lodge, last time we stayed in a pod.
