I tried Original India today for the first time in years and I can honestly say that it was the nicest chips cheese and kebab meat I have had. The donner sauce was amazing!My dog even got a wee portion to herself. The staff were really lovely too

I ordered a curry dish with vegetables as I am vegetarian, and I was delivered CHICKEN. When I called to say this to them, I could hear them in the background acknowledging it “ah yes the rogan josh, the one that slipped?”. If you know that you sent out chicken instead of vegetables, why not call your driver back and contact me to let me know about the delay? I would understand, as long as I am being sent the correct order. Instead of enjoying dinner right now I am sick. I haven’t touched chicken in over 5 years.Not to mention the Kashmiri curry with lamb for my partner was anything but Kashmiri. The sauce was IDENTICAL to their Mirchi Korma I ordered from them before, which was also anything but Mirchi. Yellow, sweet coconut sauce. The lamb itself was a disaster as well. It all went in the bin.The only good thing about the order was the fried rice. Might help with the sickness!I am incredibly upset, I loved ordering from here. Never again, not after this. If it was just the chicken mistake I would give then another chance. But you knowingly let your driver deliver me the wrong order. Shameful.Dietary restrictions: They don’t take them into consideration.

Disappointed. Ordered Chicken Maryland. Consisted of 9 cubes of deep fried chicken, 2 pineapple rings and chips. Expected breaded chicken breasts, banana fritters sausage and bacon, salad. Never again, and not hot enough and still greasy ?
I’m not big on making huge complaints or bad reviews BUT I feel something MUST be said….. I called to place an order….. placing an order for a good 30 odd quid, when I called the guy who answered asked the usual questions then the other phone starts ringing, he proceeds to talk to somebody else then comes back on the phone, by this point I had no idea who he was speaking to….. he then tells me I’m taking far too long to place my order and that he has other phones he needs to answer!! I told him where to shove the order!! I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years and I can tell you I’ve never had ANYONE tell me I’m taking to long, this man had absolutely no customer service skills what so ever!! This place was fantastic years ago, food was amazing n I had a bad experience before food wise but thought I would give it another go as we all deserve second chances BUT it’s a shambles and no idea how to properly treat the people who pay their wages!! Shocking behaviour I will not be back!!

Have used this company since June never had an issue until a couple of weeks ago Original India is shocking service terrible staff rude unhelpful and couldn’t give two monkeys what you think i would honestly give them minus 5 Stars? and just to say sadly i was forced to give a one star because it wouldn’t let me post it with a zero star ?♂️

I messed up last week (02/07/2022), we where having my boys 18th birthday party on the Saturday night and i hadn't ordered food, i went to Original India at 4 pm and asked if they could help, i order from there Buffet menu (over 250 items!) and they had it ready for me to collect at 7pm!!!The food was outstanding!! 120 Various Pakoras, 50 Chicken Tikka, 50 Onion rings, 50 Chicken nuggets (with chips for the kids) 3 large various Pizzas, Garlin Nans, every item was delicious!!My guests absolutely loved the food!The guys were extremely helpful and friendly.Thank you all so much.

I used to order from this restaurant all the time but stopped a few months ago as I ordered a £40 meal from the restaurant on just eat for delivery as per normal but on this night I ordered the meal at 10pm at night and waited hours only for the meal not to arrive to only then get a phone call from the restaurant at 11:58pm to say that if I’m available to pick up my order (which I had phoned to be delivered) only to tell them I had ordered a delivery and then they refuse and say they are closing and I must collect, then I proceed to say ok I will come and pick it up if I must and then the restaurant replied with actually never mind it’s too late we have actually shut the shop. So infact they had realised they had messed up and forgot my order to then lie about it and say it was an order for collection (which it wasn’t) and then have the cheek to not even refund my money. It’s this that has put the nail in coffin for me ordering in future, a mess up on their end turned into them deciding it was a mess up on my end and then not even having the honour to refund my order for their mistakes, for this reason this restaurant that I used to love have now lost my business permanently
