A delightful owner runs an excellent bistro within the premises of the golf club. The food is freshly made to a high standard. There is a good selection on the menu in addition to the daily ‘specials’. My bacon, chicken and cheese sandwich was really tasty and my wife’s Brie, chicken and bacon wrap came with excellent French fries. We went to the Tarbat Bistro for lunch and it was fantastic. Possibly the best macaroni cheese I’ve ever had. They even had gluten free ciabatta so my sister had plenty of choice despite being coeliac. The coffee is top notch, you don’t expect to get proper coffee like that in such a small village.
