This is a great wee place, I just had a scone which was lovely, my friend had a panini, which she loved. The staff are lovely, loud and down to earth friendliness, which I love.

Unfortunately my two experiences at Dotty's haven't been positive. The hot drinks were over priced, tasted weak. I had walked for less than one minute before my cappuccino lost all it's froth and became a weak coffee with milk. The toastie was not cooked through, the cheese was bland, the bread was barely coloured at all. Again, a premium price for an inferior product. The staff are lovely. The cafe is always busy so has atmosphere.

Usually not bad food BUT today you have lost my trust. collected bacon rolls which had only 2 pieces of badly burnt bacon on it. Nearly broke my teeth and they have cooked every last bit of flavor out of my bacon. Extremely disappointed. Makes me not want to go back now, shame.

Loved it, it was a wonderful experience. Had some great Scottish food ?. Nice place to stop off to if your hiking the union canal or waiting on an RV rental.Kid-friendliness: Family place with a kids menu added on.
