Now visited this gastro pub a few times. The experience is consistently good. If you like your pub experience to be chilled out, friendly and with approachable, smiling staff and good food this place is a winner. If you're passing through this area and wondering where you can stop off and be well looked after, you can't go wrong with a place like this. You'll leave feeling better than you did when you went in.They are kid and dog friendly and they can make them something called a puppacino if you ask (for the dogs that is). There is free parking on the road that the pub is on too.Final thing, my other half won't stop raving about the macaroni cheese at this pub. Probably worth giving it a bash!Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly, they're happy to bring out the crayons so your kids don't interrupt your pint, they have kid menus as well.

Popped in tonight for an impromptu dinner. me and the hubby both had the curry special - chicken jalfrezi. It was delicious, not expecting it to be that good for pub food. 2 for £20 and the curry included rice, nan and poppadoms with mango chutney. absolutely stuffed best £20 spent in a long time!warm and inviting atmosphere making you very relaxed, thank you for a great meal

Always a good time had in here. Food is fantastic especially the variety and choice for gluten free and you can count on a decent bottle of wine too. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming and happy for a chat if not too busy. Not a rowdy pub, nice for a few drinks and a good natterDietary restrictions: Fantastic gluten free vatiety

Never had a disappointing meal yet.Vegetarian options: Good choice not just pasta or risotto.Parking: Good on street parking.
