Absolutely shocking service earlier today. Asked if the Celtic match was going to be shown live and the fella behind the bar scowled and said he didn't know. My da asked for a non alcoholic beer and was told it was in the cellar. Obviously a big hassle to go and get it. Asked for menus...they were literally thrown at us from a particularly rude barmaid who didn't even acknowledge us. Dont waste your time with this place. Used to be a good pub. Wouldn't go near it again.

Wrong food brought to me. Waited ages for a Pizza, geve me meat pizza when i don't eat meat. Not an apology or something off the bill. Won't be back..
I didn't enjoy the food at all. Fish greasy chips pale peas tasteless and tartar sauce bland. Service poor as only one person serving who was very pleasant but overworked.

We had our engagement party in the function room at Owens. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better night, Courtney and the team were fabulous and took great care of us.

Staff service was poor, unless you’re 17 with your t*ts hanging out… expect a long wait to get served. Power trip owners hovering the tables is very intimidating as well whilst trying to enjoy a nice family meal.The food was average at best. I’ve made better chicken strips with my Ninja air fryer…Such a shame as this place has a lot of potential but definitely needs the management in new hands.
