Phoned in our order, drove in to collect it was very very busy, staff were so apologetic that I had to wait offered me a complementary coffee while I waited and took £5.00 from the price of order because of the wait.I've always been made welcome here.

Visited last night (Party of 6). Our table wasn't set out as usual and we began to think that the Restaurant had been taken over by another Proprieter. The Food on offer was limited for some in our Group and there were a number of empty trays limiting choice. There was a special Stock Car event on and it may have been that the Restaurant had been exceedingly busy during the afternoon and hadn't quite caught up in replenishing all of the food trays. Our Booking was for 6pm. The Shimla is one of our favourite places and we have been Patrons since it opened but last night was a disappointing visit.Parking: Parking is usually very good.

Friendly, attentive staff. Food good,very varied dishes to try + chips & chicken nuggets for the kids - great idea ! My favourite was the chunky jelly with lashings of cream lol ?! Excellent quality & price was really good- I'll be back ?
1st visit. Plenty of space for us and had no trouble getting a table. Lots of choice on the buffet and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area.
