Nice decor and friendly staff. Food menu was good but not too big. We went for all three course as specials. The scotch egg/ haggis to share was divine. The steak to share was done to perfection and the chips were very tasty. Nice staff and nice ambience. Enjoyed our Sunday lunch very much.

Had a selection of small plates. Nice variety and good options for vegetarians. Outstandingly friendly and dog-friendly service with a blanket and water bowl provided for our Labrador. Also helpful service in boxing up leftovers for us to take away. Salad of beets and goats cheese was tangy. Side of stir fried greens was nicely cooked with a little bite left and not overly mushy. Cauliflower fritters were okay. Could have been in smaller bite sized pieces which might have made them a bit crisper.

Great place for a family meal. Very stylish interior, tasty food and a great wine list. Attentive but not intrusive service.

Lovely decor, very attentive staff and dog friendly. Menu looked appealing. Ceasar salad starter - lovely. Smoked haddock croquettes - although nicely presented, were bland. The leek velute was lasteless and the crispy leeks were absent. The haggis dish was delicious and my burger was ok. Locals seemed to like this place and there were regulars so maybe I just expected too much. Delighted to find a dog-friendly restaurant though and we would return.

Family celebration evening. The venue was very busy, both bar and dining area.Good knowledgeable serving staff, fully explained all items on specials board.Good selection on menu, Food received I would say was just OK, nothing to go on about.I'd certainly visit again in future.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with friends. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and efficient. They took time to engage in conversation and humorous banter which is a rare quality nowadays. The decor was beautiful. I will definitely return.

Really enjoyed Queen's House catering for a wine dinner! The service, in particular Felix, was excellent and the dishes just kept coming!

Straight away staff were very helpful and informative. Barmen also prepared an off-menu cocktail Various specials were on offer which is always good to hear. All the food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Monkfish special was brilliant and very fairly priced. We also tried the Chocolate Bomb dessert from the specials menu and it was brilliant. Maybe the best food in the Stirling area - will be back regularly and would recommend to all.

Tha afternoon was very good, the food was tasty and filling. A better variety of drinks would be appreciated. We will return for a meal, as they looked very appetising.

Been here a few times now but it's the roast I had last weekend that compelled me to review, I've lived in Scotland 8 lovely years but no good Sunday roast in any one those (one in Glasgow was actually, though I still don't think they got the beef quite right). Anyway! Food and experience both delicious, the beef tender and pink - as it should be! - tasty sides, good and generous gravy. The whole afternoon was great - lovely large window seat, Sunday newspapers, great red wine, fantastic roast, too big (for us anyway!) but delicious puddings and really great service from both Felix and the girl before him, they really added to our afternoon (attentive but not in your face, and really appreciated that our leisurely pace was accepted and never rushed). A great time! Lovely decor and atmosphere too. Have been for a midweek lunch and evening weekend, great all round. Really happy to have somewhere like this locally, was missing.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with friends. The decor is beautiful, and the premises are spotlessly clean. The staff are very professional, friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was lovely and well presented. Will definitely return to sample the dinner menu

My husband and I visited the Queens house for a drink on Saturday the 21st around 9pm. The restaurant and bar area was quite quiet for a saturday night. We tried to order drinks st teh bar before sitting down but were advised to sit and someone would be over to get our order, we did this but no one came to take our order. There were around 4 members of staff in the bar area so I asked again if I could order a bottle of wine at the bar. One of the bar staff got the wine for me and charged me for it and then said he would bring it over to our table with glasses so he could open it there. I returned to my table to then sit looking at my bottle of wine on the bar. The chap who said he would come over never came over. After sometime another member of staff who was happening to pass our table said could he get us something to drink. I said I would really like the wine I ordered and paid for that is sitting on the bar. This member of staff went and got us the wine and 2 glasses then proceeded to make a total mess of opening a bottle of wine with a cork. You would think in a wine bar they would have been trained in opening wine but it seems they are not. Anyway the whole experience was a total disappointment, the wine was £40 and very nice but the service was appalling. I could have forgiven the staff if they had been run off their feet but they were not. I also noticed anther couple coming in and taking a seat but they left without being served as no one approached them.
