Still only take aways, not sure if restraunt is ever opening up. Phone always ringing for orders, plenty folk (like me) just going n ordering, but even tho they wer real busy, still only 10 mins or so wait for my excellent meal.

Beef dishes are terrible not been for couple of years only went because a friend told me it was back to what it used to be not the case beef dishes not good at all

Have tried many times. It’s a hit or a miss. After mths thought give it a go. Phone for a carry out, it was half a portion of kungpoo chicken with mostly bamboo shoots. Not be back. Waste of money.

Cant comment on the food, was very disappointed that my recent visit here was told that they were not open for sit in dinners due to covid ? and no date was given for reopen ,was offered a take away menu but declined as we had a round trip of 40 miles to return home ,no notice on the window or internet that would have saved us a trip .Previous visits were good but will probably not be back .

Since we moved to Cumnock from Glasgow in April of last year, we have tried every Chinese in the area, Genuinely. They were all terrible.The best and only take away that we managed to find was the Diamond Inn. We have ordered many, many times. Sadly this order was enough to put us off for a while.The smell upon opening the container was enough to put us off before we even tried it. The prawns were clearly, best before use, and sadly my mother in law has the chicken chow mein, which had the same smell.Just to be clear, we opened her container before the prawn Chow mean had even been taken out.I love this Chinese. Genuinely some of the best Oriental food in this area, with amazing delivery times (which we didn't rely on this time) Please look at this, as nearly 35 pounds were spent and none of those hard spent pounds were enjoyed.

We really enjoy the food from The Diamond Inn. Having recently moved to the area, we had hoped to find a good Chinese. It didn't take long! Delicious. Pity they don't do prawn crackers free with their meals tho, like most others... ?
