We've found this nice fish & chips on Christmas day 2023 and what a wonderful surprise they dont take money for food this day ??So nice of them , this was never happend to us before . Amazing ppl❤️Very nice fish??? and a good size of chips .

Went down today for a chippy tea in my wheelchair from caravan park, said explicatley have an intolerance to vinegar please do not put on food, gets back to caravan and covered in vinegar, don't have enough battery in my wheelchair to go back down, waste of money had to go straight in the bin, If you have allergy or food intolerance avoid this place as he can not follow the instruction

Shocking service from a crabbit man, could only get what was ready in the cabinet, couldn't even get as simple of a thing of chips and cheese, also cash only, I was recommended to this place but don't think I'll be wasting my money here again.

There was a fair queue just before closing but they served quickly and efficiently. Food was lovely!

The fish was nice; very meaty and fresh. Unfortunately, the batter was too thick and soggy and was thrown away with the packaging. The batter on my partner's sausage was crisper, but the sausage was freshly cooked. The chips were lovely. My recommendation is ask for your food to be cooked fresh. The difference is night and day. You can practically see the batter turning to mush on the food crammed together in the heated display unit.

£17.00 for fish and chips twice is quite expensive, if they are very good then I don't mind so much. However this was not the case, don't get me wrong, the chips were quite nice, but that is where any form of compliment ends. The fish was over cooked and full of bones and as for the batter, I have belts that are less rubbery, it was as boot leather. On a more positive note, the young lady that served us could not have been more pleasant.

As polite as i was, the guy didn't really want to serve. Was quite rude and arrogant. Doesn't like "visitors". Pretty much told me to get back on the train and leave, so unless you're local, I wouldn't waste your time. If only 0 stars was an option.
