Stopped in here to get breakfast as we were on our way home to Belfast. The fry was absolutely amazing and the service couldn’t have been better. Staff were so welcoming and chatty. Would gladly travel back to Scotland just for a Kaya’s breakfast.

The place was empty when we walked in, within about 15 - 20 minutes it got really busy. After half an hour of being sat down and watching several other tables that had came in well after us having had their orders taken and food served, we decided to leave. The place smelt horrendous and the food that others received looked disgusting. As annoying as it was, it was more than likely a blessing that they somehow forgot about us.Not like the good old days when it was the Wheelhouse.

Got one breakfast before which was good then I got another one which wasn't the best so complained. Now been waiting 2 hours for my breakfast and they cancel it because I complained the last time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

Waited an hour and a half to phone up and ask where my order was get told it would be 15 minutes then the order got cancelled. Shocking customer service very rude and arrogant on the phone, will NEVER order again.

This is the first review of a place i've ever felt the need to write because OH MY GOD the food was spectacularI got the bacon brie and cranberry panini which came with salad and coleslaw (or an option of chips) and the oreo crush waffles and some apple juice to drink - absolutely lushcame so fast and absolutely cured my hangover and will absolutely be ordering again, well done troops :)

Cafe food at cafe prices; if that's what you're after, then it'll do nicely. The toasted cheese sandwich was just a cheese sandwich prepared under a grill, crusts on...served with no trimmings. The Mac 'n Cheese was penne pasta (not macaroni) in a cheesy sauce with some cheese grated on top....(don't expect that familiar, grilled, crispy top, think more tinned macaroni cheese) The full breakfast was...ok....but it is just a generous portion of Cash and Carry 'basic' ingredients, fried up and plated. It reminds me of the truck stop cafes I used to use regularly on my travels many years ago.

1st time back since the change of management. For the price I would have expected more. Chicken was very dry in wrap - may have been unlucky. Also £4.50 for a plain cheese panini didn't feel value for money. Although, chips were very good.

Wanted Chicken and bacon wrap they sent panini was dry no flavour, and got breakfast rolls eggs over cooked and tasted like rubber, went down hill since taken over, shame!

Food, service, decor, atmosphere: I've been working in the area for some time now, tried many places and this is the first breakfast review I feel I must write. The friendly, polite staff, who despite how busy the place was, still smiled and made you feel welcome and wanted. The fantastic coffee, and the outstanding Scottish breakfast, all cooked and prepared beautifully. My colleague had the Eggs Benedict and I will be trying that next based on her review.I can't praise this place enough.Thank you, I will definitely be back in the next week.Lee
