Had a fantastic time at Polly's Pantry. The food was excellent and the customer service was exceptional. Such a friendly and welcoming place!

An excellent Americano 5/5, though £3.95 ? and a very disappointing caramel apple pie 1/5 and a small portion too for £4.95! ? I know the days of coffee and cake for a fiver are over, but £9, ouch. Almost had a scone, they looked good, but £4.Friendly enough. Indoor and outdoor tables.Limited choice, baguettes, pies, cakes, (not as other reviews/photos) all looked good but so pricey.Long rough approach track not road bike friendly.

Went for an afternoon tea today for mothers day. The food is exceptional and it has a really authentic family run vibe. The owners were going round the tables checking in on everyone, despite also having to prepare food. They were clearly fully booked and could have easily put another 3-4 tables in our room, but leaving that space gave a much more enjoyable experience. A member of our party is allergic to nuts and Polly came out to reassure her that everything was nut free. Great place, great service and amazing good. Will definitely return soon.Kid-friendliness: High chairs availableParking: Does the jobWheelchair accessibility: Floor level entranceDietary restrictions: They cater for everyone

We visited Polly’s pantry for afternoon tea on Mother’s Day. We’d seen them on tv and had been waiting for an occasion to book. It did not disappoint. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious!!!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough and were very particular catering to our food allergies. The cake Bon Bon’s (not sure if this is the correct name) were a firm favourite! Can’t wait to book again soon. Lovely family run business everyone should support locally.

Staff were lovely and friendly. 40 minutes for a cheese sandwich and a coffee was too long to wait and it was not even busy. it was tasty though,The toilet was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a week.It was a bit pricy for the food. The menu on the whole was pricy and sparse. The nice lady said they were closing in March after only 2 years, not surprised really. A good business badly run I am afraid. Best of luck to the staff as they were very friendly.

Superb pantry for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The food is amazing, the staff are excellent and attentive and the gallery is a place to eat. Also has a couple of benches outside with a place to park bikes.

Walking into Polly's Pantry is like walking into a Rustic smile.Today I visited this lovely eatery and immediately charmed by the place. It almost feels like a cheat to describe the aesthetic being farmhouse as the cafe is located inside a literal farmhouse surround by farmland. However, the stonewalls and wooden furniture give it a feel of simple style not overly done. Though I arrived during a busy service, at no point did I feel rushed. Now the food. Though the menu was not extensive, reading it (and the specials board) had me feeling spoiled for choice. The potato chowder I ordered was rich with flavor. The full 'Scottish' breakfast I paired it with left with a warm full feeling inside. Though when my companions sharing platter arrive; a delightful mix of cheeses, cured meats and dips. My eyes were planning another visit... with maybe trying one of the tempting cakes as well...The service was friendly. Though the staff were busy, there smiles never dropped, they were attentive to the tables. And found a moment to speak, these are the that as a diner make you feel appreciated. Now to find time to return...

What a great place! Dog and child friendly. Great portions and really nice food. The staff are lovely. Definitely going to come back and order some of the meat/cheese platters which look great.

Polly's Pantry was recommended to us so we decided to bring our granddaughter here to visit Santa. We were delighted with the service we received from the minute we entered despite arriving a bit too early for our visit. The visit to Santa was a lovely experience and he made the effort to come out and talk to us later what a great guy. The food well where do I start it was exceptional. We will definitely return and recommend to others. Well done to an amazing staff who really do care about their customers.

We only found out about Polly’s Pantry this year and it has been a wonderful find!! On this occasion we came for food and to visit Santa who was amazing - an absolute highlight of our Christmas - it was so personalised and the location was absolutely beautifully decorated. My two children are still talking about meeting the real Santa. I cannot recommend Polly’s Pantry enough. The food and friendly service are fantastic.

What a great find!! Loved this place. Food was delicious, staff friendly and altogether a great afternoon experience. Wanted to book for the quiz night, but sold out. The only downside was the need for some soft furnishings to absorb the echoing noise making it very difficult to hear over the clatter of crockery and cutlery. Will be back though.

Wonderful staff, amazing fresh food. Portion sizes were ample, a sharing board for 2 was shared between the 3 of us, we were leaving room for one of the freshly baked cakes which were also very tasty. I was very impressed with the fresh from the oven bread that was served as part of or meal. If I really had to find a negative I’d say with the fresh bread the butter should have been served in a dish as opposed to the fridge cold foil portions, but maybe I’m being picky. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the quality of the ingredients was fantastic. & the staff were warm & very efficient,I would recommend. * there is a field across from the front door with an adorable pony in it.

Not the easiest place to get to but we’ll worth the journey. My wife and I popped in for lunch where I had the full all day breakfast and she selected pulled beef nachos. We both were delighted by our choices. The breakfast items were obviously sourced from a quality butcher and were cooked perfectly. Possibly the best I’ve had. The staff were keen to make us feel welcome and that we left with a very positive impression of the place. We will be returning soon.

Visited yesterday after being told by a friend how nice it was and was not disappointed. I’ll get what for me was the only negative about the place out the way first, access. Access was difficult, the car park was loose stones which aren’t ideal for a wheelchair, the entrance door was too narrow however there are wider doors which were opened for us but unfortunately there are a couple of small steps to navigate but with a little help from staff we got in. Inside was lovely with tables o varying heights, so could get chair under no problem. Staff were lovely and very helpful and really listened when we mentioned a few things to make access easier. The food was as good a the view which was stunning ? Would definitely recommend and go back

Fantastic hidden gem if you're out for a rin on bicycle/motorbike/car.Fabulous cakes, delicious and generous proportions. We also had the Hummus with pitta (it's huge, one between two if you're having a cake)In fact they boxed up the leftovers as we ordered too much - that's great service.Staff were excellent, the place was clean and well looked after. We will definitely be back.Try it, you won't be dissapointed
