“Counting House is an amazing pub and restaurant, I cannot recommend it enough to anyone. We attended the pub quiz tonight and had a lovely time. I'd like to make a special mention to the bar tender, shannon, who was lovely to talk to and was super friendly. She made the Experience 1000 times better.”

British • “I pop in here regularly for take-out coffee on my morning walk. The girls that serve me are always very friendly and helpful, and I am now using the Costa app on their suggestion. I have never had to wait, and Costa do a lovely latte, so I keep coming back for more!”

“I can’t say enough praise towards this place! The food was amazing. We ordered the halloumi fries and they were flaky, crispy, and tender. The sauce that came with the fries paired perfectly with the halloumi. We went a tad overboard with ordering although we love to try what restaurants have to offer. I ordered the lamb chops with potatoes and veggies along with a rosemary red wine sauce. To say this was the best meal I have had on our trip between Ireland and Scotland is exactly what it was. The lamb was tender and flavorful with a beautiful sear. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The Scottish pies were another item we ordered it was fabulous!
We will for sure be back! Make this a stop on your next trip it’s a must!”
