We were heading home from Scotland to England and starving and tired. So glad we read the reviews. The staff were super friendly and the food was really good, we felt lucky to have stopped by and it was busy but they squeezed us in. The landlord (Billy?) came over to say hello and asked where we were from and brought us a whisky! Top place. Thank you.

Table was booked, had to wait 10 mins for it.Placed the order food took an hour to come.lasagna wasn't very hot, kids had adult burgers, theywere pink all the way through. We were a Table of 7 and it was busy, lots of take aways aswell...It's a lovely place , but maybe yous should concentrate more on the restaurant at the weekends when it's busy.

Excellent pub/lounge which shows in how crowded it is. The food is good and in large portions at decent prices. I had the Chicken Suedoise (I'd never heard of it but it was delish) & the rest of my party ordered the steak pie, maccaroni, fish & chips and lentil soup. All was good & tasty. There's a car park nearby so shouldnt be a problem to find parking unless there's something going on that particular day or if it's a Saturday. Very crowded so you should book a table, as we did, otherwise you're likely to be turned away.Vegetarian options: Maccaroni, haloumi fries, chips, veggies

From the outside you have no idea what you’re going to get from the Glencairn Lounge. Inside, the staff and regulars are lovely and the food great. If you’re really lucky you’ll meet the long time owner, Tommy. A generous, welcoming and big hearted man. We had a wonderful and memorable end to our day’s travels.
