“Fantastic Thai restaurant in Dundee city centre very close to the V&A and the railway station. Authentic Thai cuisine cooked by owner Ian’s Thai wife and served by Ian’s Thai father-in-law. Amazing lunch time special of a starter and mains course for only £14.95. What’s not to like?”

“We actually booked our meal vis Groupon. We expected a 4 course meal consisting of poppadoms and chutney/mixed starter/main curry dish/rice. Great deal. The restaurant from the outside looks nothing special.. on first entry we felt the restaurant looked mediocre.
The best bits.. Service was wonderful. A young lady and a young man served us. They were so lovely and friendly without being intrusive. The food (remembering it was a standard 4 course meal) was delicious! There was more than enough. We thought we would need to order chips and deserts, but we didn't need to as we were happily stuffed hahaha. Thete is a large selection of drinks at the bar. We would highly recommend this little gem.. whether you book with discount codes or not.. the food is delicious, the staff are very sweet and lovely! They also do takeaway.. oh yeah!!”

“First time for a Sunny’s tonight. Staff were just lovely; knowledgeable and kind. The food was something else; tasty, well-cooked and hot. Young man who was on serving kept checking the temp and could answer the 101 questions my husband insists on asking. The desserts were also enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we will be back!”

“My friend kindly took me for lunch here and I was so impressed. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Taza, but have been to other buffet type restaurants in the area more recently. I cannot fault a thing.. the food was fresh and hot. More importantly it was absolutely delicious… especially the fish pakora. Service was great, but wee Ayan is the star of Taza. This young man could teach many of those in hospitality how to provide exceptional customer service. He was on the dessert station and was just brilliant. Nothing is too much bother and he’s just so polite. I can’t wait to come back :)”

“I have been here a few times now. On my last visit as a party of 3, we were greeted with friendly service and the vegan in our party was well accommodated. Food was delicious and served quickly. There are tables with lazy susans for properly sharing dishes family style with a larger party.”

“From the moment we walked into Bombay Joes, we knew we were in for something special. The warm welcome, attentive service, and genuine care from the staff made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. The host is excellent — friendly, professional, and always making sure every guest feels valued and looked after. Every member of the team was friendly without being intrusive, and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was simply outstanding — packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the passion and years of experience in every dish.
Even when we order home delivery, the standard is exactly the same as in the restaurant — always fresh, full of flavour, and arriving piping hot. That level of consistency is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to quality.
It’s no wonder this restaurant has been a local favourite for so many years. Bombay Joes has that rare combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back again and again.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine served with a smile.”

“Goa Indian Restaurant at Broughty Ferry has a really nice ambience. It can get busy, even on weekdays, so sometimes you might have to wait a bit to finish your meal, but it’s usually worth it. The food is generally very good and reasonably priced. All the staff are humble and welcoming, making you feel comfortable throughout your visit. There’s a charming guy working there who’s from Bangalore — it’s always nice to see friendly faces like his.
We tried quite a few dishes on our visit. The biryani was fluffy and aromatic, with tender meat and a perfect blend of spices. The soup was rich and flavorful, a great way to start the meal. Anusha really enjoyed the soft, freshly baked rotis that complemented the curries, each with its own unique taste and just the right level of spice. We also had starters like Indian snacks and kebabs, along with warm, buttery naan — everything was full of flavor and had a nice spicy kick. Definitely a great place for authentic Indian food.”
