Hi I attended the ABBA tribute act in your place Sunday 24th March what a fabulous time my friends and I had. The high tea was delicious the band were good had everyone on their feet dancing,I would like to highlight Howard you worked for you what an entertainer he joined in the fun his hosting skills were first class so welcoming and chatty . I have never enjoyed myself so much in a long time.I do hope you repeat acts like this. Full marks to you all .

Forgans never fails to disappoint. But we had a voucher and it had to be used. The service was really odd. It took ages to place the order and a two rounds of drinks both took ages to arrive, but the food arrived almost instantly. Barely left with only a couple of minutes gap between each course. Very odd. The Cullen Skink was decent if a little heavy on chunky potatoes. The haggis neeps and tarries was oddly tasteless. The rest of the dishes were pretty decent. Value for money :a good bit below average. The atmosphere was somewhat spoiled by the loud noise of the rugby blaring from the bar area. Who thought that was a good idea for dining entertainment?Forgans; always close to being decent but never quite getting there.

Food was nice but had to wait 2 hours for two Sunday roasts. We were told there would be a ‘short wait time’ when we ordered it but 2 hours is a ridiculously long time to wait. Nobody addressed this issue either when we paid or apologised for it. Rather disappointed.

I went there with some friends for dinner, I had the vegetarian wellington, the pastry was soggy and was not crispy. This is pretty disappointing because a Wellington is meant to be crispy and this shows that there is too much moisture in the pastry. Personally there was not a lot of gravy and I would like a bit more. Don't be stingy please. Sunday roast pork..I'm just going to be honest. It was very disappointing very dry and hardly any gravy, like come on the Sunday roast without gravy is not a roast. Don't even get me started on the service. It was pretty quiet when i went. The service was horrendous We sat down at our table and the waiter took almost 30 minutes to ask for our drink and 30 minutes to collect our plates. The waiter rather spent time looking after a baby than the customers. Will not be coming back

Great birthday meal. Staff all really friendly and welcoming ( Howard, Kay, Ian and Lee). Food was very good and to top it off great live music.

Nice place but the food wasn't great. I ordered the mussels which were the smallest I'd ever seen and the cullen skink had to be sent back as it was cold. Staff were nice and

When I looked at the menu and saw a burger for £18 I immediately imagined a feast stacked so high id need a ladder to reach the top...a piping hot succulant beef patty topped with crispy bacon , dripping with cheddar cheese , onion rings , gherkins and many more mouth watering fillings...on the side I dreamed of a huge pile of steak cut chips so big they would take a week to eat and finally a generous helping of spicy slaw to lather on my food...my mouth was watering!!!You can imagine my horror when(after 45 minutes) the most sorry looking , dried up , lonely , pathetic excuse for a burger was eventually laid in front of me , a tiny handful of cold fries on the side that would fail to satisfy a toddlers hunger...I thought the rest must have fallen off as the waiter brought it from the kitchen. To make matters worse a member of staff sat near us to eat on his break and appeared to have so many chips they were falling off his plate.Get yer act together Forgans , get those plates filled up properly , people are paying damn good money for this utter garbage , id have been better off going to Greggs across the road for a Beefy Bake.AVOID

The waiter tipped his tray over one of our party spilling 3 coffees and 2 pints. They removed the service charge from our bill to compensate ? I would have expected to get the drinks they spilt as well complimentary ...... but what do I

Quite busy when I arrived. Pleasant waitress, generous bacon roll and good coffee.

Really dry and overcooked steak. The mussels portion we had majority of them still closed. The atmosphere is so smoky, they need better ventilation. Honestly gone downhill quite a bit, I would save your money and go elsewhere.
