I'm glad I went 50 yards round the corner and tried here. The batter on the smoked sausage was light, crunchy and crispy. The chips were soft and fluffy with a slight crispiness. Everything was cooked to order so a little wait, but when its this tasty who cares. The staff were lovely as well and I look forward to returning.

We placed an order through Just Eat at approximately 5pm. We were assured the order would arrive by 7.25pm. It took until after 8pm for the order to arrive. We had tried to call the shop over 150times to try and get through but it was constantly engaged suggesting they'd taken it off the hook. The delivery driver was very apologetic and told us he was not made aware of the length of time since our order was placed. He stated that the shop had had a walk in of about 50 people and they had been served before the online orders had been made up. Disappointing start to a holiday in the area.

While my husband raves about their fish & chips, I am disappointed by their lack of vagetarian options

The food is ok nothing special. The prices are absolutely shocking tbh. 4 fritter roll cost me 10 quid ! Was only after I paid they told me they charge for sauce and 25p per box for each roll! Robbery !

The food was okay and certainly fresh. The queue to get served certainly vouched for how popular the Chip Shop is but getting charged for Brown Sauce, 50p a satchet left a very bad taste in the mouth!?! ? What ever happened to chips and sauce particularly on the East Coast! Not exactly a very cheap place especially when you factor in £1.50 for sauce that comes free at just about every other Chippy!?!
