Extremely slow service, food average but expensive, won't be back.

Terrible service, 3 staff around the back of the counter chatting. We were the only people in the venue, was ignored for several minutes.Went back to counter after our pannis were eaten to order some cakes. One couple being served, obviously knew person serving so long chat took place. Again ignored.Other lady was making coffees so fair enough but how difficult is acknowledging customer and putting a cake on a plate when there are 2 other staff members?Decided not to bother with cakes as coffee going cold and also reluctant to fund any further bad service. We had a similar experience last time we visited.Disappointing!

Same type of food as with most of the Muffin Break that you could go. The plus of this place is the outdoor terrace which it gives you a great view and some fresh air.The downside of this was cleanness which I would say it requires some attention.

Sat down for a coffee and something to eat, a pigeon flew into the cafe. I have a phobia of birds. I know they can't stop them from getting in but they made no attempt to get it out only saying it happens all the time!!!!. This is a wild bird in a food preparation area and where people are eating. I asked for a take away bag for my food as I couldn't stay and got handed a bag you couldn't fit a biscuit in.

My grandkids love to stop by here, but it's hard to sit & watch them tuck into sandwiches & cake when you're starving, but there is no wheat alternative/free bread !! Come on, Muffin Break - your business is all about the bake ! Get a bag of wheat free flour & get an alternative out for sale. In the time I sat there, I witnessed 2 other customers walk away because of the same issue ! [There was more empty seats than filled ones at the time] Do it b4 your competitors do or like me; on our days out, my grandkids are going to have to love going somewhere else to eat. Your staff were lovely, helpful & apologetic. The service area was clean & the service was super efficient. The food my grandkids ate was 5* - they loved what they had, I've put 1 * because of lack of choice - & unfortunately, that's what grabs your attention.

Bit concerned about food hygiene. One of the staff dropped a 'pizza cutter' onto the floor, picked it up, and immediately used to cut a couple of toasted bacon crusty buns.

Nice place to stop off for some food and a coffee. We sat out today, glorious weather. Will call back soon

Ordered a Frappe and it was warm as there was no ice, when i said to her she said they are not normally made with ice which is just nonsense. Cinnamon swirl over heated and dry so was the muffin. Just shocking
Located inside the Overbridge shopping centre, Muffin Break is a nice place to stop by and have a break. We enjoyed cappuccinos and muffins, and found them both very pleasant. The possibility to stop at one of the (few) table provided is a nice plus.

Good place to go if you like muffins and taking breaks. Crixus can often be seen here taking breaks and enjoying muffins.
