Didn’t listen to what I wanted taken off the burger, so it went in the bin as my partner can’t eat onions and the sauce, couldn’t even just take it off as you drowned it, and the wings were over done to the point I couldn’t even bite into one of them, another thing what’s the point in trying to hide your service fee ect, you say £3 odd for delivery then when you get to check out it throws an extra £6 on your orders for a “service fee” I’m sorry but why are we giving you £40+ for a couple of burgers and sides, good one money making robbing c**** owner shoukd be ashamed of thenselfs robbing the people the way you’d do how you canny sleep at night

Since you want to remove my review on just eat I will be leaving it here. 1 hour 15 minutes late. Placed my order at 6pm, to be delivered at 7pm and did not receive my order until 8.15pm. Driver arrived with phone tucked in his neck, carrying my order with one hand and failed to inform me the bag is torn at the bottom (side facing him) therefore the bag has torn open at the top when I took the bag from him. I have went into my house to see the bag has torn at the top because of it being soggy, covered in oil and torn right open at the bottom. He clearly handed it to me this way to cover up the fact the bag torn at the bottom. Simple physics can explain this ? Customer service person spoke to manager who refused to refund despite my food being covered in oil and also cold as it's over an hour late. Apparently this driver delivers food everyday so he is truthful. I have ordered many times here and not had any issue. Clearly Shax do not have any respect for their customers since I am being called a liar. Absolutely awful service and I won't be ordering again due to the lack of customer service. Why would I lie about this after being a good customer? Ridiculous.

Ordered for collection and my vegan burger was so burnt that i couldnt taste anything else. It wasnt very busy in there either so no idea why it was like that, was disappointed

Slightly pricey but portion sizes were good and the food was tasty. An improvement would be to use thigh instead of breast for that extra juiciness in the buttermilk chicken.
