Went to grab an early morning coffee (31/10/23 7:30am) from the sit-in place as I was a bit early for work and wanted to chill. The drive-through is reasonably busy so I can acknowledge that the 3x staff were not sitting around doing nothing. However, standing at the counter for 5 minutes before you are acknowledged and then having a surly greeting of "wit de ye wahnt?" is not how a coffee shop should work. You should be acknowledged when you come to the counter and they should greet you and tell you that you'll be dealt with shortly. The staff looked unhappy and every customer was an inconvenience. If I was the staff manager in this place, I'd have some serious words with them. The mass of 1* reviews of this site should surely be an indicator to those in charge. Needless to say, I won't be back here. I'll find an independent place that actually values my custom.

Every time I went here, I hated the experience. Unfriendly, unpleasant and rude staff. Lots of space in cafe but not clean. Tables and chairs are pretty old and sick! Today while at counter, I noticed hair lying near cashier desk. I ordered cakes and brownies. It took almost 10 minutes for that to be served. There were nearly 7-8 staff behind the counter and 8-10 costumers waiting in line for their orders. Staff just dumps the cakes near collection point and customers have to go through the pack to see which one is theirs. Never go if you have a choice. Located on a busy road and has a drive through so probably customers like to pop in!
