Had a family party here last night in the upstairs function suite it was absolutely brilliant. Staff were absolutely amazing all completely friendly and so helpful and accommadting both Sammy and Jane that were serving behind the bar were just lovely. and from the moment I phoned to enquire and i spoke to Lee she was just brilliant couldn't ask for better staffor service. The service when I was there ( during the day) was good , quite a big pub and has a very large beer garden with plenty rain cover , would say it would be a good place to have for a special occasion, staff friendly and good at their job .

Venue is very nice, unfortunately the toilets bring the overall experience down. No toilet seat on a ladies toilet. I believe the men's weren't much better. My 2nd visit here in around 2 years and not changed.
