Lovely small bakery with a delightful mix of options including croissants and cookies. We tried the focaccia and kimchi toastie, both were brilliant. The coffee was delicious!!

Very cosy little bakery with a lovely interior and atmosphere. Good range of pastries, sourdough breads/rolls and focaccias. What’s a bit disappointing is a lack of vegan options. Even the courgette and pea soup was not vegan as it had cream in it. Also, coffee was served in a takeaway cup for sitting in which feels like such a waste.

Really disappointed with the Aran Bakery. I’ve followed them since they opened and was really excited to finally the visit for a coffee, however the staff were extremely miserable. There was no customer service, no service with a smile, not even a hello. It’s safe to say I no longer follow them, nor will I visit again.

I bought a carrot cake slice, shortbread, and cardamon bun for my drive to Skye, and each were spectacular. Incredibly good bakery, coffee, people are delightful, and it was my first time passing through Dunkeld. I will definitely come here again.

Got married in August in the area. We were being very indecisive about the cake and didn't want to spend a lot on a proper wedding cake. Finally, decided to message Aran bakery, with about a month to go. They said they couldn't deliver so we organised the delivery ourselves. We got an apple and olive cake and a gluten free chocolate cake (devils food is the official name if I remember correctly). Oh. My. God. They were so delicious, and I LOVED the butter cream on top. At some point during the wedding, the labels (GF and non-GF) somehow must have not been very visible, and so some people who I know for a fact would never touch a GF cake with a barge pole, came up to me to say that the chocolate cake was delicious! For the next two days us and the bridal party stayed in a lodge and ate the remainers of the cake right out of the box. It was actually incredible and I still remember that devils food cake. I haven't had a reason to buy a cake since but the moment someone's birthday comes up I'll be on it.

Surely one of the very best bakery and coffee shops in the northern hemisphere. The best bacon roll I have ever had (and I have eaten a few) with rhubarb ketchup: roll and bacon both perfectly crisped. Then an exquisite spiced plum and patisserie cream (perfect) pastry with a ginger crumb. And fabulous coffee. So good we returned the next day and I had exactly the same. A wonderful discovery. Bought bread and one of Flora’s cookery books. My wife described the first recipe I made from it as “the best thing you have made”. Tiny, with only 9 seats, but proof that small is beautiful.
