A must-visit when you find yourself in Dunkeld! They serve a myrid of exquisite homemade cakes, and the mince pie (a personal favourite) is to kill for!!! That's coming from someone who generally doesn't like mince pies!And the best Americanos in Dunkeld (IMHO) are served here here?☕️

Only a few items on the menu but lots of cakes. We had the soup, followed by dumpling and Victoria sponge. All SO tasty. Wee cosy shop. So glad we stopped!

Best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Tasty soup with a large Scottish roll and butter. A large selection of lovely home-made cakes. We had Clootie Dumpling, and White & dark chocolate meringue, both large portions and served with fresh whipped cream. Lovely!

This is a hidden gem in Perthshire - and the couple who runs the Clootie Dumpling Cafe knows how to deliver great and delicious home bake. With real ambience, very friendly and efficient service this is a place run by people who are passionate about what they do (a lot of trendy independent cafes in the cities, yes Edinburgh, could learn from here). This place adds greatly to the character and charm of Dunkeld and the beautiful nature around, and it is quality places like this that attract more quality shops and restaurants; it shows when you walk around the historic town. This cafe is not a lunch place, nor does it claim to be, but you can get a nice homemade soup or delicious tart before you indulge in a great variety of fresh homemade delicious scones and cakes. All served with freshly brewed quality teas and coffees, a choice of small (for kids) or a bigger mug of hot chocolate with proper cream of course and/or marshmallows. Served flawlessly on pretty china and by the friendly owners who welcome you as a special guest. What a great and charming little business you have built here - and you should be applauded adding so much value to the Scottish countryside! Go - and take someone who deserves a special experience out in beautiful Perthshire.

This a place we regularly visit when we are in Dunkeld and today we popped in for lunch. The soup and scone was first class as usual, and their home being could not be better.
A place you absolutely must visit while in Dunkeld! Service is incredible as is the coffee and treats.

Absolutely nothing we could eat . We asked for soup and then asked what kind…sweet potato and butternut squash which we don’t like…we left as being diabetic we don’t eat cakes…so woke…won’t be back…not a single meat item on the menu

Such a lovely Cafe! And the dishes are marvelous. I had the famous Clootie Dumpling, and the taste blew my mind. Exactly what i was hoping for. The two people who worked there were extremely kind, we felt totally at home there. Hope to visit again!
