I cannot give this place enough praise. The service was excellent the food was delicious so much so we went back for lunch the next day. The Sunday roast is something else. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The fact it is dog friendly indoors is great too. Can't wait to go back.

Warm welcome, fire was on, dog given biscuit, water and a mat to sit on. I had seafood basket, very nice, wife had a massive pie, very nice, and my mother in law had the best burger she'd ever had, ever! Will come again!

Delicious food and beer! We stopped for lunch after a long walk with our dog. Really friendly staff making us and our cockapoo feel welcome. Lovely food and a roaring fire! Highly recommended and we will be back, thank you!

If you haven’t tried their roasts yet, why haven’t you? The best roast dinner I’ve ever had ( sorry dad ) but honestly absolutely amazing. A beautiful country atmosphere too and lovely staff. Pop in you won’t be disappointed.

I ate here last with two friends on the 14/09/2021, we all ordered something different and it was amazing food, since then I have recommended Zs Bistro to my friends and family. Yesterday I wanted to treat my elderly mother to a good lunch, how disappointed we both were, my Salmon had a disgusting citrus sugary sauce poured over it and the vegetables were raw, I ate it because I was Hungry, my mother's duck was tough and the lentils really salty. This was the worst meal I have eaten for years. I told the waiter about the sweet sauce, he just said thanks for telling him.

This is an easy 5 stars for a 4 star hotel, which ticks all the boxes for great rooms, food, value and nice staff. What’s not to like?
