Staff brilliant, food delicious, cocktail lovely!Highlight was the Partridge starter... yum!The waiting area was so cozy and warm on a freezing night too.I lost my handbag on the night and myself and my partner were so worried but staff went out of their way to help look around and check CCTV which showed I'd left with it and narrowed down our search.Our waiter was also lovely.Hope to be back!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! We were staying at the Dunkeld house hotel and decided to eat here on our second night and boy are we glad we did! What a fantastic little place, excellent and friendly staff, exquisite food and a fabulous atmosphere! We will be back!

I don’t know in what world 3 mediocre burgers cost £75.20 - maybe they’re made of gold? A can of coke £3.70 and the waiter brought me the wrong type too. Excuse me but you need to get a grip! Each add on £2? You are simply ridiculous and the food wasn’t even good.

Food was delicious, staff friendly (Martin was very attentive) would definitely recommend eating here. They made us and our dog feel very welcome and I can highly recommend the steak.

Had lunch in the Bistro. Menu ok but seemed expensive. 15 minutes after ordering our main course we were given cutlery. 45 minutes after ordering our lunch arrived. It was busy but other diners who ordered after us had been served and were getting their bill whilst we were still waiting. Food was ok but certainly not value for money or worth the very long wait. Disappointed as we love Dunkeld.

Lovely place with friendly staff, and great atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious, my friend and I had starters, mains and desserts as well and we quite enjoyed it! I would say the price is very reasonable, you get decent portions and quality food here. The highlight of the evening was the mussels from Shetland, I've had it with a spicy and rich tomato-chili broth which was amazing! I highly recommend this place, we have had a great time here and will be definitely back soon!:)

Our restaurant experience was miserable. We ordered a Linguine dish and an Avocado & Grilled Halloumi cheese sandwich meal. The Linguine was ok, nothing bad or great about it, but after few bites of the sandwich we realized it had no halloumi cheese in it. We informed the waiter, and after 5 minutes the waiter showed up with a (so called) halloumi cheese plate. So now the cheese sandwich became an avocado sandwich with a cheese side Instead of actually taking the whole dish and bringing a proper full sandwich. That wasn't the end of it. The grilled halloumi cheese was more like sticky gooey cheddar and we could not eat it. After asking for an explanation, we were told it is a vegan cheese; however, we did not order a vegan meal nor vegan cheese. The meal on the menu wasn't under vegan category nor said it is vegan. The meal description clearly said “grilled halloumi cheese”. The sandwich cost us £16, we couldn't eat half of it, we were not offered to not pay for it, not even a discount or an apology for serving a vegan meal where no vegan meal was ordered... i haven’t seen such customer service before. There was no attempt or care to rectify the situation.
We were looking for a light lunch as we were booked for dinner at the hotel we were staying at. Sandwiches here are £16. Including chips but what a rip off. We ordered our food and drinks and waited 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. We shared a pizza and a pathetic portion of chips. Total bill with two drinks £38. this included £1.50 for a dash of lime in the pint of lager. Would not recommend this over priced and uninspiring place.

We went to Atholl Arms Hotel for a drink and dinner the staff were really nice and friendly, we sat in the lounge for a cuppa and it was really relaxing and welcoming then later on we went to the Bistro for dinner the food was really nice and descent size for your money and wasn’t too expensive. One thing we really liked was the fact they are very happy for you to take your dogs in with you and they cater to them as well, they bring a mat and bowl of water for your dogs with a few treats so you can enjoy your meal and they are looked after as well

What can I say about Z’s?! Well, the food is fantastic and to a high standard. The decor is quirky, stylish and very dog themed. The staff are so attentive and friendly. They take the time to chat despite being very busy. But best of all they love dogs. Upon welcoming you to the establishment, a mat and bowl of water was brought for each of our three dogs. During the meal the dogs were brought treats. And after our meal we retired to the lounge where the dogs were brought blankets and balls. If your dog is well behaved they will be treated like a king and you will be treated to a top class meal, excellent wine list and fabulous cocktails. A special thank you to GM Craig - who made our night very memorable. Well done Z’s…..see you on our next visit to Dunkeld.
