Been ordering from here for a while. Food is great as always but was charged twice for the delivery by card and at the door in cash. When we questioned this the next time we ordered on the phone the woman was quite rude and told us that there was no mistake even tho my card was charged £19.80 and the receipt on the bag was £17.10 and I gave the guy £2.70 in cash as requested at the door. £19.70 - £17.10 = £2.70 ?♂️. 4 stars because the food is so good

No idea what they do to their chips. Always cooked to death. In the main the food is good (maybe except the chips) but portion sizes have shrunk and prices have shot up. Nearly £15 for one main course with rice and chips.

Chicken satay is the best! Been using this take away for years. The lady who owns the shop is always very pleasant! Price has increased a little however I’m still happy to pay for good food and to support a local business.

Food is always very good so the two stars is for the delivery being charged at the point of order and then the driver asks for it again on delivery! So are there two delivery charges? As I said good food but watch for extra charges.

£12-30 for a chicken chow mien and a portion of crackers plus a further £2-70 for drivers delivery charge,, I don’t do cash so always card,, put the transaction through then the lady said plus £2-70 cash for the driver is explained already it was a card I was using,, by this time she’d already put the food through,, sooooooo after a small debate wouldn’t say argument she finally put the £2-70 through on a separate card transaction.,. Food is good but prices and customer service needs a look at,,,,,,, correction was a chow mien and a satay sauce not crackers

The prices have literally, no word of a lie, rocketed. It is £5 for soup ! Eh ? That’s central london prices, not what a takeaway at calderwood square should be priced at ! When I have been in, I’ve watched the woman go to the Scotmid next door, buy irn bru then sell it to customers for a silly mark up. She also takes everything out the freezer, from shop bought gyozas to shop bought chicken wings. The prices are totally insane - almost a tenner for an omelette ! That’s just 2 eggs, some milk and oil !! Separately, the woman who owns / works there is soooo rude. I have overheard her, when I have been in, being very rude and aggressive to costumers who have called to complain about something or other being missing. I had the misfortune to have a missing bag of chips once and she exploded at me on the phone, claiming she had checked the order. I am not in the business of trying to defraud someone of chips that probably are the cheapest thing on the menu. So, that rudeness appears quite common, and it wasn’t a one - off. I really don’t like the woman’s attitude to customers, and I really don’t like the prices. Blaming brexit when we left the eu ages ago is just a lot of nonsense, which is what I was told when I gasped at the £5 price of soup - “it’s brexit”. No it’s not - it’s greed. At least in a restaurant, you get bread with soup - and it’s not even a fiver ! Honestly ! The prices are incredible. I’d feel utterly mortified if I charged £5 for a soup.

The meal I receive from cafe la tours is always great quality, I really enjoy their food.I bought BBQ ribs from here recently and they were awesome. Really meaty, tasty ribs. The next week I tried the ribs again and they were boney with little meat.I'd still recommend them highly. I'd just like the ribs to be that good every time.
Disgusting service and disgusting food. Food arrived late and was very small portions. Cooks where asked to be fresh when ordered however they where over cooked and had no potato in them!Upon phoning, I was told by the manager that they would not refund anything at all because the food was fresh. They told me that they used frozen chips and couldn’t tell me how long they where put into the fryer.It was incredibly poor quality and I certainly will not go back!! DO NOT order from this horrible place.
