I have visited Carrigans so often as it’s super reasonable and very close to where we live.Generally, the food is great and most of the staff are lovely. Sometimes it’s so busy that you can wait quite some time for your drinks or getting the bill but defo worth a visit.

A group of 8 of us visited Carrigans, East Kilbride on the evening of 29th February. My wife and I had travelled up from Cheshire to meet with my sons in laws as we were celebrating our sons engagement and transfer to Scotland.The restaurant was absolutely amazing, warm, congenial and the choice of food was more than adequate. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful and shared a great sense of humour.We were all very impressed with the food and drink and considering there was 8 of us, the final bill was reasonable.We will definitely visit again on our next visit. Well done Carrigans!!

Great place to go. My kids and I eat there around once a month and it is great and affordable. Staff are always lovely and the portions are large ?. Make sure you book ahead though as it is always busyParking: There is plenty of free parking in front and to the side

We eat in here once a month and never had an issue. Last night changed that. We waited quite a while to be served when it wasn't busy. The staff are normally very nice and attentive but they seemed miserable, like they didn't want to be there.The cutlery was being polished at the entrance to the kitchen and the noise was horrific. There is no need to polish the cutlery near your customers. The food was great and the portions were spot on.We will be back again to give them another chance. Not sure if management has changed which is why things weren't up to the usual standard. Hopefully our experience was a one off.I would still recommend people to visit as the food is great and very good value for money.
