We’ve been here 3 times now, first time they didn’t have a simple thing from the menu so had to go for something else which was very tasteless. Second time paid for a build your own breakfast and it had missing items that were paid for and now on the 3rd attempt they claim they have no baked potatoes (the most basic lunch option) right before the lunchtime rush.. when they use food they take from the shop I’m confused how they have constantly run out or don’t have things on their already limited menu? Won’t be back as that’s 3 times now we’ve been let down. Had to clear our own tables just to sit down for the wee one to have his lunch as well.

Morrisons stewartfeild , east kilbride is the slowest service ever , they need to get a better grip and put a rocket up some a##'s ! Front of desk staff disappear while folk line up to be served ! Not good !

Like the Parson's egg, our experience, just a couple o hours ago, was "good in parts"! My wife and I had taken a dementia-suffering friend for lunch, having promised her a nice, traditional, Christmas meal - as advertised in this, and other, Morrison's stores. We spent some time at the large menu-board deciding on our choices for each of the three courses offered. We then made our way to the check-out, where I commenced giving our order to the young girl who was there. She quickly stopped me - apologising that there was no Christmas meal available. I asked if I might speak with the manager - only to be informed that this person was not on duty! Eventually we decided on alternatives for our lunch, but the unavailability of the advertised meal was a great disappointment. I did suggest to the young girl, Carla, that she inform the manager, on her return, that if the meal was not available, then the advertisement should be removed. The good part was the staff. As far as I could see, there were three young people - Carla, another young girl, and a young man (none of them, I suspect, more than 22 years of age!). They were responsible for preparing the meals, serving the meals, operating the check-out, washing the dishes, cleaning the tables, and whatever else needed to be done. All three were very pleasant, although Carla was the one with whom I dealt most. Someone at management level needs to do something about this. Even one of the "standard menu" items that I wished to order, was unavailable, These three young people deserve a rise in their wages, considering the manner in which they were being rushed off their feet, and the responsibility that they carried.

They have increased their prices unnecessarily.

It's Morrison's. It's cheap, good value, basic grub. Not much more than ready meals but if you expect or want more, go elsewhere. Some great offers including free kids meals at certain times. Pretty good fry-ups too.

It's ok but the breakfast was a bit cold

Never again! I got our teas, as you do, asked for one roll with sausage, one of bacon and offered my more card, only to have it thrown back at me as he hadn’t the know how to process it!?! Was told table number 4 which we approached it was filthy! Had to ask twice for it to be cleaned with a equally dirty cloth in a slapdash way!!!!!! By this time I was ready to walk out. The Neanderthal that bought out food bought a roll of link sausage, forgetting the roll of bacon, he had to go back and get the roll of bacon, took another 5 mins by which time we had halved the roll of sausage between us before it got cold, my husband had to go and purchase another roll of sausage. I then witnessed a no no in any cafe! The server was filling the clean teapots with tea bags and he dropped a good few, he then picked them up and put them back into the bag after treading all over them! We won’t beach in a hurry that’s for sure and I have sent in a complaint to Morrison’s.

Used to bring the kids for a wee cafe lunch here every now and then as we always quite enjoyed the food, you don't expect the world when visiting these kinda cafes but the food was always decent enough. After todays visit not sure we'll be in a rush to return. My wife and I had Macaroni Cheese and it was awful, tasted worse than a microwaved meal. The customer service at the till was a bit strange as well, the guy serving us didn't really interact with us at all, and also when he brought our food over it was a bit of an awkward atmosphere. As previously said no one expects the world when eating in a supermarket cafe but definitely left feeling a bit disappointed. Maybe the guy was just having a bad day.

My husband and I visited the store today to do shopping for ourselves and my mum. On leaving the store I was delighted to be handed a Gift Box with loads of goodies in it. Thank you so much ladies. We are delighted. Janette and Angus Hutton

First time here and impressed by really helpful and obliging staff. COVID protocols were carefully adhered to which is important to us geriatrics. I had the all day Brunch which was very good and best coffee I have had in a long time. We will return without doubt as quality of ingredients and price was great.
