Me and a friend were at a Wedding at the hotel and staff and food was fantastic we stayed overnight room was great breakfast was delicious. All credit to all staff Thank you for a magnificent time ??

Hotel reception staff member expected some kind of gratitude for making a complete mess of our booking. It was eventuallly sorted after my husband had to end up giving his medical history! This should never have happened!!!\\nThe design of the bath was a nightmare, you needed to step into the bath it's self to put the plug in, then clamber your way out with only a short length of handrail to help steady yourself. Then you can turn on the tap to the bath which is located on the wall, and runs HOT, HOT ONLY!, the tap is offcourse near the plug hole, so you can't tell at first if it's running Hot or Cold, \\\"Accident waiting to happen here\\\", Oh and if you need to charge your phone don't expect it to be next to you, the room has only One socket beside the kettle on this occasion. Other rooms it could be located under the TV! on the other side of the room. The prices are the actually the most expensive I've come across in all the hotels I've stayed at. Nearly 90% mark up!!!\\n\\nI've just read the Answer from Lara Brown?\\nYou caused this! I had a family room booked, for reasons we wanted to keep to ourselves, but since you found fit to dump us in a Double room, that's when my husband had to Say about his medical history, until then the female on reception didn't budge!! This fact should never have occurred in the first instance!?!?

(Was here for a family meal) Honest review. So slight negative, Yes there was a few things on the menu you couldn’t have due to supply issues but if your telling me your going your weekly shop and not having to substitute items, I’d say you aren’t being truthful. I think it’s to be expected with what the country have been dealing with. However staff were apologetic (even though it’s not there fault) and still plenty of dishes to chose from.\\n\\nOnto the many positives. Firstly the staff, on an extremely busy night we couldn’t fault any of the team members they were all fantastic. We actually found out the managers name and would like to thank Lara and her staff on a first class evening.\\nThe food was excellent really enjoyed it. One of the party ordered a steak, we weren’t expecting anything much having ordered steaks in restaurants before and being disappointed, however, it was cooked to perfection, it was a really large portion and well worth the money.\\nThere were plenty of cocktails ordered to the table all of which were top notch, do you have to wait a teeny bit longer for cocktails yes, but it’s a barman that’s making them not a magician.\\nThe actual place itself is beautiful, welcoming, and has a wonderful feel to it. All in all an absolutely fantastic night. Also I really hope this gets back to all of your staff especially the kitchen staff because even though your servers and front of house are who you see, your kitchen is what made our meal amazing. Thanks again.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were very good. Was there for a friends wedding. All set up for Christmas now which made it look even better. Only downside was the drink price difference in the actual wedding venue room compared to bar downstairs.

We booked through online booking site and chose a particular type of room and were assured this was booked. Checked in to find that room had been changed and hotel staff tried to blame online site for allocating the room we now had.\\nTotal rubbish the hotel had assumed they could fit us in a smaller room and take another booking for the larger room. Would never book in here again.\\nOne other thing whoever designed the layout of some of the rooms needs either to refresh and update their skill set or perhaps an appointment at the opticians might be an advantage to the patrons of their next project!

Lara replied to my review and the tone of the reply insinuated that we had deliberately overstayed our booking. Can I just say we were told on the telephone that the booth was available for 4 hours. If that is not the case maybe whoever takes your telephone bookings needs some training. Had we the booth for 2 hours we would have left after the 2 hours no problem. The restaurant was not busy while we were there despite you saying it was. In any case how did you not consider we may have been taking our drinks into the bar ?.

Wedding here was terrible. Some Staff where rude and very unhelpful. Never provided foods we asked for. After the meal the team just wanted rid of us. At 3 or 4 times the hotel staff entered our honeymoon suite unaccompanied, once when I was on the toilet and when questioned was told she was checking the air conditioning. The other time was when they were moving our gifts of which 5 cards containing money were lost. When we enquired s to their whereabouts we were essentially told, not our problem, deal with it. Disgraceful relations and service, highly recommended having your event NOT here

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff here. Menu offers a wide choice GF, V, and some vegan. Very popular and busy restaurant, with functions faculties. Seems to be doing well coming out of Covid - even saw some \\\"vertical drinking\\\" at the bar not seen that since early 2020! A good experience and very nice staff. Well done.\\nCar is accessed from street at back - Google didn't get us there 1st time.

We'll appointed, although small, room. Needs better sound deadening between rooms. Despite inter-room noise, we slept well and were comfortable.
