The food was good, portion size is good. But the space is bit congested. Literally you can listen to other people sitting around you.

I was a bit indecisive about trying this place for a while not sure why. Ended up deciding to try it for a change and were surprised at the warm welcome with a cosy atmosphere during the winter season as it was cold and dark outside. Service was great considering the place was full so feeling grateful to have managed to get seated straight away with menus. Ended up ordering a platter for 2 which was amazing not completely desi but really great value for money and something slightly different from the normal curry spots I tend to visit. Had a cheesecake dessert which was pleasant with desi chai which I couldn't fault. Will definitely come back as I found it to be a very joyful experience as sometimes these places can be a disappointment.

Absolutely delicious and richly spiced food. The veggies platter is tops and more than enough for 2 hungry people. Extremely affordable, super friendly, and very cosy ambiance. 100% recommended!

We ordered a Chicken Domoda, Keema Shema and a Chana Masala, all with rice and salad, and a side of dhal, then also a Mango Lassi and a Mango sparkling rubicon! Plenty of food at a great price. Popular with university of Edinburgh students, locals, and beyond. Highly recommend!

We were looking for some Indian food here after our castle tour and we saw this accidentally on maps. Though we had walked for a mile to reach the restaurant, it was worth the food.We have ordered Mutton and rice it was very tasty. Also we had Mango cheesecake it tasted good as well.The ambience inside looked like we are sitting in a dhabha in India, it was a very good find I would say.

Really good home style food! Not oily, not spicy (you could order it hot though). Was very surprised with how tasty all the preparation and super affordable. More of a casual homey restaurant in university area, small kitchen, friendly staff, and decked up like alladin's cave!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choices

This is my happy place. It's easily my favourite lunch place in Edinburgh. Great if you're on a budget and great for bringing a friend or two as they cater for vegans / vegetarians as well as meat-eaters. My go-to is the chicken masala wrap but I'm told the rest of their food is amazing as well. 10to10 is an integral part of my Fringe experience year on year ?
Excellent cuisine only there was hardly any meet on lamb chops, all bones… i came for lamb meet so this was rather disappointing.

The quantity of food for the price was good and customer service was also good. Only issue was too much turmeric in the dishes served other than that the everything was alright. I had mutter paneer and chicken yasa.
