Fantastic birthday meal here with my hubby. Staff were amazing too. My new favourite Indian restaurant in Edinburgh.

Restaurant which formerly also served as collecting point for the Abida takeaway.*Formerly*. If you want to collect your order, drive to the other site.Still, very friendly staff which called the other site and had them deliver my food to here. Restaurant seems to have quite an atmosphere, and has a very nice ceiling decoration.Food rating is for the takeaway food *not the restaurant*.

It was fine but not amazing. My curry was more watery than from other places. I won’t be in a rush to order from here again.

When this place first opened it was so good sadly it’s went downhill badly. We ordered food and was told it would be 50 minutes then we get a email saying it’s going to be another 30 minutes so phoned restaurant and simply put we were lied to. Girl on the phone said it was out for delivery and would would be another 10 minutes then it was 30 minutes ended up another hour don’t believe it had been made never mind out for delivery. Not ever using them again which is a pity as they used to be so good now sadly so bad.

Pakora was in a box full of oil. Chicken dry . Currys not good. Naan full of grease. Won't be using again

Ordering system was simple with excellent value meal deals. Food was delivered hot and on time with friendly service. Every dish was utterly delicious with good portion sizes. Thank you, we will definitely order with you again!

Had a really tasty veggie chilli garlic dish and my wife had an equally as tasty veggie biryani from here last night. Tasty food, fast delivery, easy to use website, very reasonable price and the deliver guy was very friendly too! Will definitely use again! Thanks guys :)

All freshly cooked to order, which I will admit, takes a considerable amount of time, so allow yourself plenty of time. Staff polite and welcoming with a snack on arrival. A sweet treat with your bill. Little touches that make all the difference. Had enjoyed the visit and food was very nice indeed. Recommended.

2 tourists arrived in Edinburgh needing a meal. Ordered 2 curries, rice and naan bread, on blind faith from an unknown restaurant and had it delivered to our hotel. No choice but to give a 5 star review. Large sized portions and genuine flavour. Thank you.

Food was really good as was the service. You could really taste the individual flavours of each dish and prepared beautifully. My only low was not your usual curry dishes so menu was difficult to know what to choose as I don't ear meat. Was however good to try something new.A little bit pricey but worth it.

Sat in and this is the restaurant called Prana. This is the most magical place, beautifully decorated and fabulous staff but the food ......Difficult to put into words but a magnificent menu and cooked to perfection. We had monkfish curry and tandoori duck. Both were delicious but the duck was nothing short of incredible.Well worth a visit, a place to watch.

Blizzare!!! We ordered a set meal for two, I had chicken Pathia, and my son had North Indian chill lamb, 2 pilau rice and 2 vegetable pakora. What happened to sour? No taste other than Heinz 57.Mine - chicken in a thick sweet Heinz beans tomato soup based curry with some chilli thrown in for spice. No sour, extremely sweet.Son - said his his lamb was not bad but the curry was flavourless.Rice - bizzare! Yellow and no flavour whatsoever- blandVegetable Pakora - no salad, no raita but a thick mustard based teaspoon of gunge. Over cooked and greasy. So sorry to be so negative but never, ever again. I’ll be heading 100m up the road to the Bangla Kitchen in future.

Order left restaurant on time. 40 mins later, still no food, we only live 2 miles away - I could have walked faster. Phoned restaurant, they chased up the rider. Finally after arrived, asked rider 'what was he doing?' Said he delivers for multiple apps at same time...so our order went to another restaurant and another drop off because it was "on the way" Abida should not accept this practice. Food cold, ended up reheating it ourselves...
