Another lunch out at Ask Italian Edinburgh. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by friendly staff and shown to our table. We started with Burrata Caprese which was tasty and a decent size portion. We then had Burrata and Pancetta Carbonara topped with roast tomatoes, creamy Burrata and crispy Prosciutto. This dish could have been a bigger portion as not a huge dish for the cost £17.75 ! It was look warm at best so would not have again. We had to wait quite a long time for our mains so were reluctant to return them.We finished our meal with Warm Chocolate Brownie which was tasty. All washed down with a nice bottle of Nero D’ Avila Shiraz. Two waitresses were great, friendly and attentive but kitchen need to up their game.Total cost £70.65 + tip

Delicious! Best pasta I have had in a long time! I highly recommend the Burrata and Pancetta Carbonara and the Biscoff cheesecake.

Got a voucher so tried ASK Italia, I have to say I was surprised! Not a big fan of chains but have to say I enjoyed my lunch and will return! Started with cheese fondue AMAZING!!! With lots of fresh garlic flatbread with it, I had lasagna bites which was ok wouldn’t get again, mains linguine carbonara classic tasted great and fresh! I got beef brisket pasta it was ok probably wouldn’t get again, bit disappointed as it’s recommended on the menu! Not bad but not memorable. When I do go again I think I’d get a few sides and starters and definitely go back just for the cheese fondue ? lovely staff definitely worth trying!

You will get a free try shots of lemonade . It’s really nice , recommend it . I tried pollo pizza which is in the beginning of pizzas menu . It was 15.96ish don’t remember . Didn’t enjoy it . It took so long to cook it and then it came cold . There was like 3 or 4 small pieces of chicken and loads of rocket . It was disappointing tbh. Anyways i want to try their best sellers mushrooms or whatever . Maybe they’ll be better. No photos unfortunately.

Couldn't fault it, linguine carbonara was amazing, as was the chocolate gnocchi for dessert. We'll be back very soon. Loved it. Service top notch, food was quick and high quality.
