Nice place for breakfast, good produce, and so many options. Immaculately clean and nice service.

The restaurant operates like a foodcourt with multiple food stalls selling different cuisines. The establishment is well decorated and clean with many seatings available. I tried a dish from salt and chilli oriental stall and was slightly disappointed with the taste though my gf enjoyed it.I would recommend this place for its variety but the food might just be a hit or miss.

I've visited here a number of times since it's opening and this visit with family was no different from previous visits. This time we ordered food from East Pizza, which was 10/10 and a Scampi basket from Creel Caught, which was also delicious ? we also shared a snickers ice cream from Joelato - so good!We managed to get in just at the right time before any queues. When we left there were quite a few people waiting to get in - it is very popular so plan around peak times if you want to avoid any waiting.I really like what they've done with the market and it continues to be a great space to visit, the lighting is cozy and on point, good vibes and friendly service.

We had an incredible time with our experience at Bonnie & Wild booking a work Christmas event for roughly 20 people.Christine was incredibly attentive before, during and after our booking and was an absolute superstar getting us organised. The bar staff were eager and fun and ensured we enjoyed our evening. The food and drinks package was exceptional value and non-stop flowing alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for us!I highly recommend booking with B&W if you have a function or event to host.Thank you everyone at B&W!

A relaxed food court vibe. Salt & Chilli tasted horribly (General Tso chicken) was way overpriced for the quality and taste of food. Very disappointing.Service staff were quick to clean tables and were helpful, and there were a number of high chairs available for families with children. The gelato place was nice and had good flavors.

We were quite looking forward to eating here today. The restaurant has a wonderful aesthetic and I liked the market idea. We settled on the fish and chips outlet. The food was good, but unfortunately, the service stank. The server, a tall bald skinny chap, appeared to be very unhappy when taking the order from my colleague. He was aggressive and rude, acting in an completely unacceptable unprofessional manner. When she informed me of his behaviour, I told her she should have just left and we could have eaten elsewhere, unfortunately it was too late as she had already paid for the meal. His bad attitude was obvious and probably a factor in us not seeing a single person order from the outlet the entire time we were there. I felt sorry for his staff as they both looked miserable. It was my first visit but will also be my last.

The food is ok but nothing special. Had a burger with chips, and the bun was dry. You could tell it lived a long, unhappy life in a plastic bag before being taken out... Chips also no frills, just bland. The meat and sause were good. So if you are in a rush and not looking for anything special, the place with the many stalls will do. Atmosphere, is a bit like a train station, with people sitting with their bags and jackets tucked between their legs, waiting for the train to arrive, - didn't see a place to put mine (it might be just me). Have to recommend the staff - very nice and positive people, doing an excellent job.

We had pancakes here ? in Stack & Still, service a bit serious but nice, pancakes delicious tho the presentation was not the best. Tried a year ago the ones from Rose Street (same company) and was way better. Just a comment for improvement ?.

There was 7 of us and it was busy, had to queue to get a seat but didn't wait too long, staff were great. Food was good, a little pricey but your in the centre of Edinburgh. Kids and adults all enjoyed what they had, love the choice that is available, it's relaxed and the atmosphere is good. Definitely recommend if your in a group that like different styles of food.

Love this place so much! A fantastic selection of great quality Scottish produce in a unique environment all in one location! We keep going back! Can be a wait at busy times to get in but honest, stick with it, it's worth the wait. The White Heather Club on the last Thursday of each month is great craic.

We tried Leith Woks: beautiful, authentic Asian flavours and locally sourced ingredients. I had satay chicken skewers and curry beef stew- both were fab. Good selection of drinks from the bar. All very reasonably priced. I would go again when I am next in town.

Opted for pizza, honey chilli chicken, and gelato. Food was very quick, tasty, and good value. Used QR code to order drinks, which was very easy and a quick service. Service from all the vendors was great. The Bonnie & Wild staff kept tables clean and free when other customers left.

Brilliant! So good we came back the next day. We orderd from Leith Wok the first time beautiful fresh chinnese food. Second time we orderd from Creel Caught, great seafood! Brilliant place to take family especially as there is lots of different kitchens to choose from. Very very reasonable prices for huge plate of food.

This is situated inside the Scottish Marketplace at new St James Centre,Edinburgh at the junction of Princes St. and Leith Walk. There is an absolutely amazing array of restaurants to choose from covering most popular cuisines. After much debate we plunked for Salt&Chilli and had some wonderful Katsu chicken dishes with rice and salt& Pepper fries. It was a great pre concert meal. You could come here 10 times and never be dissatisfied with the choices. Bill was a reasonable £42 for 2 meals, soft drinks, coffees a shared large slice of cake.
