We visited this place just to have our desserts and coffee for an afternoon routine whilst waiting for our train. Everything was brilliant and we were accommodated by the staff with a smile. ?

The service was great for us. Made a reservation online and was able to get in to eat in like 20 mins. What I didn’t understand is others were turned away when I went online it said they could reserve a table in like 20 mins but I overheard them say they couldn’t fit them in tonight. My fiancé tried ordering ribs and cheesecake they were out of both. The steaks were very bland not worth 41euro to be honest I’m from the states I’ve had 100$ steaks and 24$ steaks and this didn’t even rank at the 24$ steak price. The servers were great and the desert was great! For a restaurant that claims Gordon Ramsay I guess I was expecting the steak to have some sort of flavor to it or some sort of seasoning it tasted like it was just a sirloin put straight on a grill. I wouldn’t eat the steaks if I come back just not worth it. However the sides were cooked good even mashed potatoes.

Maybe Gordon should put his own restaurant to the test on his show. A real disappointment! Non-existent welcome. Poor manager and kitchen not up to scratch. Overcooked Wellington! Restaurant soulless and cold ...

Had the Beef Wellington Experience and it was utterly indescribable. Never had food truly been such an experience, definitely worth the price.

Just completed a cocktail master class with Monika and it was fantastic. So knowledgeable and great fun. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Wouldn't normally frequent a place that allows dogs but was gifted a voucher so thought I'd give it a go. Thankfully no dogs present during my visit. Found staff very pleasant and chatty. We were seated upstairs and in the main was bright and airy. On arrival you are offered a glass of prosecco or a choice between tea/coffee, soft drink or beer. Opted for the Sunday Roast which arrived promptly. Beef was tender and flavoursome. Horseradish cream and roast gravy and seasonal vegetables, top notch. However I deducted a star because some of the roast potatoes were slightly undercooked. Too full to order a dessert. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and one which I would recommend.

I asked for a Spanish menu because I was visiting with my dad. Rui, our waiter, spoke Spanish FLUIDLY. What a pleasant surprise! My dad was very happy he could ask questions and order drinks and food by himself.

Stopped for a spontaneous meal while on a walk in the city, this restaurant is in a great location and the food is spot on, super friendly staff who were very accommodating with our 8 month old.

Over promised, under delivered. Very expensive for what was offered. Don’t get me wrong, happy to pay good money for quality but this was a poor show. Will not be returning. Plenty excellent restaurants to choose from in Edinburgh will sadly be giving this one a miss.
